It started when we were younger.

A date....

I was in the office with William working on some paperwork, both of us had a smirk on our faces, the reason why was because we were playing footsie. He trapped both of my feet with his ankles and I kept trying to push away. "Give up?" He asked with a smirk, I matched his smirk and finally escaped.

We both laughed. "Let me take you on a date, Ollie." He said with a smile, I looked at him confused. "Ollie? That's a new one." I said we both chuckled, "but sure." I said, his smile widens, "then I'll pick you up at six." He said, I nodded. "Have me back by ten?" I joked, he smiled again, "I was thinking ten-thirty but sure." He said, I whined. "No an extra thirty minutes with you is perfect," I said, he smiled and nodded.

We continued work, and laughed together, in the end, we played music and began dancing with each other. Finally, we finished work and went our separate ways, William let me keep the kids since he doesn't want them in that house only to bring traumatic memories, so they stay in my bed, and I stay on the couch.

"Hey Olive welcome back," Micheal said as I opened it he and the young ones were watching TV on the couch. "Hey kids, I have to get ready for another event sadly but I'll be back by ten-thirty I promise, you know to call me if there's a problem," I said, they nodded with smiles. I went into my room got the dress I didn't put makeup on, since I'm probably doing something that doesn't involve me needing makeup

I looked at the clock reading five-fifty, I went to sit down with the children as they watched looney tunes. "Hey mama where are you going?" Elizabeth asked, I was shocked by her calling me mama, "yeah where mom?" Micheal said, "why can't you stay with us, mommy?" Chris said, I turn to them with tears in my eyes, they immediately started apologizing for calling me mom, thinking it hurt me.

"Thank you, and you can call me mom all you like, it just caught me by surprise that's all," I said smiling at them, they nodded and hugged me. Our hug was interrupted by a knock on the door, I fixed myself up and opened it revealing William, with a hand full of wildflowers. "Six on the dot love." He said, I smiled and let him in taking the flowers and putting them in a vase.

"Dad, why are you here?" Micheal asked, "he's taking me on a date." I said they were shocked, " yes I am, and we must get going, stay safe and out of trouble you three." William said, they nodded and waved goodbye. William drove me to a parking lot and we both got out of the car. He wrapped a blindfold behind my head and lead me to God knows where.

"Alright, you can open your eyes now love," William said, I took the blindfold off and looked around us serving the beautiful boat and lake, he was taking me on a boat ride.

"William..." I said in awe, I turned to him with a grin and he smiled back taking my hand he stepped in the boat first and then balanced me as I got in. The lake had lily pads and veins hanging from trees. "It's beautiful," I said he chuckled and kept rowing us to another unknown spot.

"Remember the time we trashed our math teachers home?" He asked me, I gasped at the memory. "Of course, and then when he thought it was the girl who always chews the pink bubble gum!" I said it was a very fun time, I believe that was when we knew we'd be best friends.

We continued telling jokes and memory in till we hit land. "This is our spot, my love," Will told me, we began walking through a field and came across a picnic and recorded player. "Oh Will..." I said it was a red basket, the exact color as the one we had when we were younger, and my old record.

"I kept it, it was the only thing that reminded me of you the most." He told me I turned to him and hugged him, my arms wrapped around his neck and hands wrapped around my waist. "You are the sweetest," I said, he pulled me closer. "And you are the most loveliest darling." He told me we went to the picnic set up and began talking while snaking on strawberries and celery sticks.

We made flower crowns and danced to music, it was delightful. "Love, would you mind if we..." I tilted his head to a near pound, I immediately knew what he met and nodded, we took our shoes off and began running to the pond, the bottom floor had small pebbles, I stayed at the part where it hit my ankles.

The water was crystal clear, it had a beautiful shimmer like jewelry bringing by a light, the vibration of each movement we took was immaculate the water was cool. "Olive look!" William called out from the other side of the pond he was all the way in. "William you'll catch a cold!" I called to him worried, he brushed it off with a wave. "No way, come on!" He said I was hesitant but agreed.

His hair was down it shimmered as it was wet, he had no shirt on at all, I took off my dress catching him off guard, I had a bra on underneath and short like underwear, I undid my hair which was previously in a braid, I swam towards him and looked at him with a smile, he was in awe I believe.

Williams pov

She was beautiful, her blue hair became a slightly darker tone as it got soaked in water, her freckles danced on her face and shoulders, and her slightly bushy eyebrows that I adored so much showed how happy she was, it brought me back to when we were little school children. I loved her, I love everything about her, I wish, just for once, we didn't have to worry about a thing and just be with each other.

She understood me like no one would, she lived for me and I lived for her, if I were to marry her from the beginning everything would be different. We probably wouldn't have kids, we both hate sexual things so maybe not, but what if he did, they'd probably be the sweetest, kindest, beautiful children ever, we would live in a beautiful field, we would have an amazing job with each other, and a peaceful life.

I love my kids but still a life with her from the start.......is a life I live for.

Back olive

We splashed each other and swam around each other, eventually we got out to dry. We laid in the soft grass and talked about everything. Eventually, it got dark but we stayed and watched the stars connecting the dots. "I love you," William said as I pointed at each constellation. "I love you too," I replied to him, we eventually left fully dress but slightly wet.

When we got back home mike was waiting for us, which confused both of us. "Where were you two, you were supposed to have my mom back by ten it ten forty!" He said, we both chuckled. "Come on mom you'll get cold out here." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me back inside, William had just noticed the mom calling and looked at me in shock, I gave him a happy smile.

"Micheal, may I have one more minute?" I asked him, he was hesitant but nodded going back inside, I looked at William who's hair was dripping, and his dress shirt was damp, I was wearing his coat he insisted to keep me warm, I walked up to him and looked up in his eyes as he looked down in mine, I kissed him making him blush, I walked away turning back to him before I closed the door.

"Good night William," I said, he looked at me with a goofy smile. "Good night Oliva," he said, I closed the door all the way and leaned against the door, I slid down to the floor and just smiled holding the coat that was wrapped around me.

"I love him."
