I fell asleep on the ride home

V: y/n wake up..

Y/n: huh? Where.. I Yawned where are we

V: the mall.. I'm gonna buy you things for your "date"

Y/n: I had stuff in my closet

Vinnie turned me towards him and gave me a death stare

V: look. We need you to look the best of the best tonight.. I really don't want him doing anything to you so we just have to listen to what he says for right now okay? Ok so now shut up and let me help you.

I didn't know what to say

Vinnie dragged me into the mall

V: okay so where do you wanna shop first

Y/n: I was thinking-

V: that prom store has some really nice dresses let's go there

Y/n: oh.. okay

We got to the prom store and as soon as we get in Vinnie sees "the dress"

V: y/n.. this is it. This is the dress.

Y/n: I don't really know-

V: do you have this in a ( whatever size you are )

Employee: that's actually the size you're holding right now. It's the last one also, today's your lucky day

The dress was fitted, knee length, and a beautiful pink shade.. it was so simple but yet so sexy.

I took the dress to the fitting room.. I looked amazing

I walked out

V: y/n please hurry so we can- wow I told you that was the dress

Y/n: yeah it does fit me pretty nice.. o God it's already 4 I only have 4 hours to do my hair and he's probably gonna want me to wear make up too. Jesus

V: I got it all covered. My cousins, the hair stylist and makeup artist... yeah they're already at my house waiting for us to get back.

It hurts to know how much he cares about me but doesn't want to be with me anymore.

Y/n: awe thank you vinnie how could i ever repay you

V: just stay safe tonight... now go take off the dress so I can pay and we can leave

Y/n: uhm excuse me can you zip this down for me

Employee: of course baby.. and is that your boyfriend?

Y/n: no I giggled

Employee: oh well.. He definitely has a crush on you
