I honestly couldn't even move at the position I was in right now. The knife I grabbed from the kitchen, dropped out of my hand for it really wouldn't serve any purpose to me.Toji was in my house with his weapons as he was looking down at me with my phone in hand. He simply placed his weapon down.
"Sorry, you're breaking up," he said simply as he picked the phone up out of my hand and tossed it to the side.
"You better not-" she yelled before she cut out the moment my phone shattered into pieces. My eyes were beyond shock at what he had in store, I did mention this man was quite the strategist.
I honestly at this point just wanted to sip some water, struggle out of my clothes and abandon them in a heap on the floor, flop onto my bed, and fall asleep not have to deal with this asshole in my own abode, in my own bedroom nonetheless.
"Y/N, let's talk," he said simply.
It was no denying that this man was going to make sure he accomplishes his goal. They didn't call him "Sorcerer Killer" for nothing. I sighed and rose up from the ground and walked off to the kitchen again.
I knew that cheap ass drink at the bar didn't do shit to him. I reached to get a shot glass and poured some of my finest liquor in a cup for him. Because why not let him go out of my apartment in style. Especially since he didn't get the message and he knew I was avoiding him after he confessed his sins to me.
"You said everything you needed to say," I said back coldly.
I pushed past him to get my liquor, pouring the rich, dark sloshing around the glass. Once I finish pouring his drink, I snatched my water from the table and walked towards the living room, not serving him his drink. That smug smirk on his face showed how unbothered he was by my attitude.
"Life was delivering me a storm probably watching how I handle it right now..." I thought to myself.
I took a seat on a couch in the living room as Toji followed in suit and took a seat right across from me. I had to say that was the best decision that he had made all night.
"So, how was your day babe?" he questioned.
I merely scoffed at his question. This man was really vexing and I couldn't entertain this foolishness anymore, I am literally at my breaking point with him. Why couldn't he just fucking stay at the club with that girl he was allowed to crawl all over him. He and I were done, he was the one who fucking left.
All these thoughts running through my mind as I watch him take a deep swig of the drink, watching as the way his Adam's apple bobs with each gulp of the drink, how his muscles pulled back as he tipped his head back to finish the rest of the liquor not allowing the alcohol to remain in his mouth and the sea of woody spices and rich earthy flavors to wash over his tongue, to have the taste linger.
He let out a contented noise in his throat after he swallowed.
"That was pretty damn good."
He leaned forward and placed his glass down on the table in front of us and then looked upwards at me.
"You know my day was great," He began, "I went to the race to get a return on my money."
"With your terrible luck, you lost," I thought to myself until I opened my mouth, "Going for a quick buck doesn't suit you."
"Tch...maybe because my lucky charm wasn't by my side."
"So he did lose," I confirmed as I rose from my seat and made my way towards the door looking and proceeded to open it. I had enough of this guy and his playboy ways. If he wanted to have fun, he should have stayed where he was and with that girl. Hell, he should have stayed with his wife and kid, "I am quite busy, so leave and don't ever call me again."
