A deep sense of serenity washed over my body as I stared in rapture at the expanse of blues that laid before me. Rays of light danced across the ripples of the water, birthed from the afternoon sun that made the view even more ethereal.
I've always believed that water was the finest mirror in the world. It never showed what exactly was above, but an image slightly smudged and a bit broken.
It reflected the truth- that being imperfect never reduced the value of beauty.
