You Only Live Once (A Hayes Grier Fanfic)

Chapter 3

Mackenzie's P.O.V.

We just got to the new house. It's huge! I don't think we're at the right address until Mom says to go pick what room you want. I can't believe we're gonna live here! My sisters, Emma and Ryli, decide to still share a room, even though there are plenty. My brother, Colby, decides on the basement room. I pick the room on the top floor. My mom said I could decorate it any way I want! She even said I could hire an interior designer if I wanted! Anything to make me enjoy my new house, she told me. I'm starting to like this house a little. A few hours later Mom says the neighbors are coming over so I decide to shower and change. I put on some gray sweatpants with sparkly letters that say LOVE on the leg and a black sparky shirt. I decide to leave my hair down. When they arrive, there are 3 kids, a girl  that's about 6 named Skylnn (but automatically falls on love with my little sisters), a boy that looks around Colby's age named Nash, and a boy around my age named Hayes. He's kinda cute, I think to myself, but then I stop. I know I'm not allowed to have a boyfriend. Plus, he probably has a girlfriend. Anyways, I introduce myself and Hayes asks me if he can have my number. I say sure and get his too. Next thing you know we're having a conversation about football. He asks me if I'm gonna try out for cheerleader. I say probably not. He says why? You should! Ok, I will! I tell him. After he went home I got a text. It was from Hayes

H~ I can't wait to see you again! Can you come over 2mrrw?

M~ Sure! What time?

H~ How bout around 2?

M~ Sure sounds gr8! Can't wait!

I wonder if my parents will approve? Oh well, I should probably try to get some sleep.

Hayes P.O.V.

Dang that girl was beautiful!! I wish she was my girlfriend. I'll wait about a week and then ask her. Hopefully she'll say yes! Well I got to go to sleep. I have a big day tommorow. Mackenzie is coming over!
