At last, when light did fade beyond
The twilight glow, far from dawn,
The clock did chime fearfully
Foreshadowing who will bleed for me.She ran for days away from my fangs,
Avoiding narrowly the oncoming pain.
But now, she is cornered here
And I smell the intoxicating scent of fear. She tore me down many years ago
Hating me from head to toe,
I gave her the benefit of my heart
Though she took in her claws and tore it apart. When heaven didn’t sanction me,
I sunk to hell with my plea.
My heart did sigh and then it died
Replaced by the fire deep down inside.A fire, dare I say superior,
To the heart that did rest here,
For now I burn those who wronged me then
When I was but a muzzled hound in a pen.But now, my friends turned to foe
You now transmute to lower than low,
You thrust your blades up in futility,
For you will bow down to me.I trusted you, once and only,
And now you are voluntarily lonely,
And I slayed all that made you glad
For you, yes you, have driven me mad.My fire that sits within my soul
Shall blister and burn until it’s full.
My fangs will never stain,
Not until you, the betrayer, are slain. You, my angel which your own action did fell,
Has found your grave in my jaws: hell.
