Aurelius P.O.V

Making sure guards stay away from a certain part of the castle wasn't exactly easy. Try to tell everyone that they can't go there will raise a lot of questions. Such as, "is it guarded by someone else then?" or a simple "why?" is enough to annoy me at this point. This meant that I had to distract guards while Erlan tried to sneak past with Y/n's wolf. Was it easy? No. Did it help that the wolf was black and we were doing this at night? Yes.

However, I didn't know how long we would be away. So, we had to think of something for that as well. I had told everyone not to bother Erlan. No one questions my orders and Erlan is known for eating in his own times. He never really liked being served food and preferred to get it himself. Then I just had to say that I was going for a hunt just in case anything from this night to the next night. So, my absence wouldn't be questioned.

Y/n's house isn't too far away but because we were carrying a wolf it made the trip feel a lot longer. When we arrived at her house, I noticed the nightlife getting strong around it. So many bats and owls on tree branches. If that many animals are off the ground, I'm suddenly worried about if I step on something or someone.

As we finally get to the front door... I'm really feeling bad about waking her up in the middle of the night. The bad feeling goes so bad that I actually stop my hand from knocking on the door. While I'm considering just to turn around and leave. Erlan steps forward and knocks strongly on the door. I can't help but kinda glare at him while he gives me the 'innocent what' look. Smug little...

Lights turn on inside the house. Y/n opens the door and is clearly taken aback when she sees us. "A-Aurelius! What are you doing here this late in the night." Her stammering is so cute... I almost forget to talk. "Ah! Me and my friend here had found your wolf. He was badly hurt... So we healed him the best we could before returning him back here." I say as I pick the wolf up. She goes white as paper. "Shadow! Please bring him inside!" She goes to get something as I put Shadow on the sofa.

I turn to Erlan ready to reprimand him but he beats me to it. "You are so obvious," he says with a laugh. I can feel my face burning up. I hear Y/n coming back, I quickly hide my red face. From the corner of my eyes, I see that she put a cover over Shadow and put the water cup close. She stands up and suddenly realizes that it's just not two of us. She slowly turns to look at Erlan. "Who are you?" I lightly snicker in my hands.

"Oh! I'm Erlan and you are Y/n. Aurelius has told me so much about you. You are so much cuter than what my visions show me." He says with a happy tone. "Visions?" She looks confused. "I'm a seer. I see the future of those around me. So, when you met Aurelius. I had a vision about you two." It got so quiet that you could hear a needle fall.

She slowly turns to look at me. Well, she knows me best out of the two of us, so it makes sense. It's really cute tho. She is looking for help from me. I suppose it's not too bad that we came here. Y/n then asks us if we would like to stay for tea. I was about to turn it down but she said it was her way to thank us for bringing Shadow back. I can't say no to that face.
