Erlan P.O.V

While enjoying our tea, I decided to ask Y/n questions about human life. Some things that I have heard others talk about and some things that I just personally thought of. I can tell that my questions were tiring but I couldn't help it. Aurelius had stayed quiet for quite a while and I couldn't help but wonder why. I mean, it's clear like Y/n's like for animals that Aurelius likes her. He really likes her. However, I can't help my curiosity. I haven't been out of the castle ever since everyone found out that I was a seer. Aurelius has snuck me out to hunt before but it's not the same. It has really been that long of a time.

3rd person P.O.V*Flashback*

Erlan was only five when his ability was noticed. Things changed because of it very quickly. It all started a couple of days after his birthday. Kids were already practicing archery, fighting, and hunting. "Hey, Erlan!" Erlan raised his head to look at other kids. "Hey"! Erlan answered getting up from the ground he was sitting at. "You are pretty skilled. Do you want to duel with me?" The kid said with hope. Why not! Thought Erlan to himself. "Sure"!

"Don't hold back, Erlan"! Said the kid. "I was about to say the same thing". Erlan answered back. However, it would be his last duel. During the duel, Erlan had a vision and he got badly injured. The kid had sharpened his wooden dagger because kids were not allowed to use real ones yet.  Erlan woke up in a bed at the medical hut. The kid had stabbed Erlan to his stomach. Erlan had to explain why he froze during the duel. After he had explained himself it became clear to everyone that he is a seer.

Both the kid and Erlan were forbidden to duel ever again. While the kid wasn't allowed to duel anymore, he still learned how to hunt. Erlan however wasn't allowed to do anything where he could get hurt or worse killed.

*End of flashback*

Y/n P.O.V

Erlan had suddenly become quiet and he was staring at nothing. I could see a small tear fall down his face. His hand started to shake on the table. I leaned over and put my hand on top of his and I started to soothe him. He breaks from his own mind and blinks his eyes a couple of times. He looks at me with wide eyes. Pulls his hand back and starts wiping his tears away. "You okay"? I hear Aurelius whisper to Erlan. Erlan Nods then looks at me and then turns to look at Aurelius and then smiles. He lightly pushes Aurelius and Aurelius' face goes completely red.

"You can stay over if you like". I offer. Aurelius was about to say something but Erlan cuts in. "We'd love to"! Aurelius glares at Erlan. Erlan offered to help me to get mattresses, I was about to turn him down but he insisted. While we were getting everything ready. I noticed Aurelius had a weird look on his face and the air suddenly felt a bit cold.

And then I heard knocking from the door.
