It's been nearly a month since the grocery store incident between me and Kai. Since then nothing much has happened besides me and Kai constantly annoying, torturing, and teasing each other.

As much as I hate to admit it I've actually gotten pretty used to Kai's company. I even told him that I'm a tribrid and he actually took the news surprisingly well.

Flashback to a week ago

I barged into the house drenched in water and found Kai chilling on the couch munching on pork rinds.

I walked towards him and snatched the pork rinds from his hand and threw them across the room.

Kai stood up and I angrily said "You can't keep snapping my neck and throwing me into the river Kai!"

"I see you've become a faster swimmer, would you like me to switch it up and bury you in the back yard next time?" Kai said chuckling.

Me being angry and not thinking straight I slapped Kai in the face. I then realized what a grave mistake I'd made but it was to late and Kai had me pinned against the wall chocking me and siphoning my magic. He then stopped siphoning and stared me eyes. He had a psychopathic look in his eyes that would've scared anyone even me.

In that very moment I had no idea what he was planning to do to me and for the first time in my life I was absolutely terrified.

"You really shouldn't of done that princess" Kai said with the most maniatic tone in his voice.

Before I could even stop myself my magic took over and it sent Kai flying across the room crashing into the fireplace.

"That hurt like a bitch" Kai said with a small laugh rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand.

I walked up to him and knelt down to his eye level mimicking him with a teasing tone "You really shouldn't of done that princess" I smirked

"I had no idea you had magic of your own" Kai says standing up me following soon after.

"Well now you know"

"So what does that make you some vampire witch thingy"

"No" I said giggling, "Its actually way more complicated then that and involves an original vampire family's vengeful dead witch bitch of a mother, a super hot British hybrid, a ritual with my brother Stefan and Damon's annoying doppelganger girlfriend, and lots of blood as well as broken promises, but the shorter version is I'm a tribrid which means I'm part werewolf, vampire, and witch".

"Wow werewolves are real. I've never actually met one before"

"Well you took that surprisingly better than I expected", "I''ma go shower meet you in the kitchen so we could make dinner" I said winking at Kai before walking upstairs to shower.

End of flashback
******
It was 2:18 a.m. and I was restless in bed given that every time I shut my eyes I see him, Klaus.

The nights I have to spend here always seem to be the hardest because I see the people I miss in my dreams and I'm plagued with the thought of them, which only makes me miss them more and I hate missing them.

I'd been away from my brothers before, but knowing that this time I may never get to see or touch them again scares the shit out of me.

Since I knew there was no way in hell I'd be able to sleep tonight I did the only thing that manages to calm me down, other then killing hundreds of people obviously, this thing being turning into a werewolf.

I slowly climbed out of bed and tossed a large hoodie over me before quietly making my way downstairs and out the door.

Once I was outside I began to take off my clothes, not wanting to have them torn to shreds when I turn.

Once turned I ran into the woods. My white fur shining under the moonlight and just like that all my troubles seemed to just wash away, for a short while anyway.

I'd been running freely in the woods for what seemed about an hour before I got tired and decided to make my way back to the house.

Kai's POV
I was up planning how I'd give the Gemini coven an excruciating death once I return to the real world when all of a sudden I heard the front door open.

My curiosity being peeked I walked down stairs, opened the door, and saw a white little wolf run into the woods. With that I sat on the porch and waited for her to come back.

About an hour had passed when I finally saw Leilah approach the boarding house still in her wolf form.

"I thought I heard howling" I teased walking over to her.

I reached to pet her soft white fur and to my surprise she didn't growl or protest instead she nuzzled her head into my fur. A small smile, which I quickly got rid of, escaped my lips. In this moment I felt and odd sense of comfort I'd never in my life felt before.

Leilah's POV
Still in my wolf form I brushed past Kai on the the porch and turned back. As I reached for my hoodie I saw Kai's eyes exploring my naked body I felt my cheeks heat up. I put on my laced underwear and hoodie before walking over to Kai.

"What were you doing out here this late?" he asked.

"I had a lot on my mind, what's your excuse"

"I heard the door open" Kai moved closer to me and placed his hands on my hips.

A small gasp escaped my lips at the sudden movement.

"What was on your mind?" Kai asked in a calming tone.

"My siblings and friends, do you have any siblings?"

"Oh yea, I grew up with tons of little sisters and brothers"

After that Kai and I just stood there under the moonlight staring each other in the eyes. No words were said there was just utter silence.

Kai then cupped my face and pressed his plump lips onto mine. It was a short kiss given I broke it up.

"I'm tired" I simply stated before turning around walking back into the house leaving Kai standing outside.

As I climbed back into bed all I could think about was Kai kissing me and how much I enjoyed it.

Part of me felt guilty for enjoying the kiss with Kai knowing that Klaus was waiting for me back home probably wreaking havoc given that things between us weren't on the best basis before I got sent here, but another part of me really did not care and just wanted to feel Kai's lips on mine again and longer.

Now that I'd gotten a small taste of Kai, I craved him. He was like a drug and at that point I didn't care if I overdosed even if it meant he'd be the death of me.
