Chapter 31- Sleep Over

Halli's POV.

I'm now okay, leaning on Yukki's shoulder as Yuri drives the van. My wounds still hurt but having Yukki by my side helps me to recover with it.

The squad is now complete after how many years of long distance friendship. Everything is now clear, Yukki's side is now clear.

We arrived to Mom's home. Mom's already there and I also saw Yalli playing at the kitchen.

"Good evening, Aunt Jade!" They said.

"Good evening and thank you for helping my daughter! Thank God!" Mom said with matching handshake to the squad, "Oh dear, you have so many wounds, let mommy clean it." Mom Jade get the first aid kit and we sat down at the sofa.

Yukki, together with the squad, also sat down.

"It's lucky that I saw them, Aunt. They helped a lot." Yukki pointed the squad and cried because of joy.

"Oh, oh, bro stop crying! You look like a lost baby boy hahah lol!" Dim laughed.

"Hm, thank you guys, without the help of you, maybe my life ended. Thank you very much for saving me. Yukki, don't cry." Me.

After an hour of talking and thanking each other, mom decided to let the squad to sleep over her house. They all agreed since mom's house has many vacant rooms.

Mom also said that she will be sleeping with me and yes, I agreed.

I also called Greta- my assistant in Hallade's choice to handle the company for a short time. I told her all of the happenings and I'm happy that she's concern.

Mom cleaned my wounds and so after that, I took a bath and get ready myself for sleeping.

But when I entered the room, I saw Yukki inside. "Yukki, what are you doing here? Mom said you should sleep at the 3rd room."

"C'mon in."

I came in and let him speak.

"I talked to auntie. And I asked to sleep with you this night." He smiled.

"Hm, is that so? But.."

"But what? Please let me sleep beside you, just this night. Promise, I will not snort or I will not disturb you. Please?" He pleaded.

Why did mom let him? It's shaming, my face is full of wounds. I look like ewe.

"Yukki, I'm shy. After all the bad things I did on you, but you're still kind to me. You still helped me. After I said hurting words to you, and you're still there. Sorry, for everything Yukki."

"No. Don't be sorry. It's no one's fault and I don't blame you for that."

I nodded and lied beside him on the bed.

I left a space between us, I feel like I'm being interviewed. The feeling like I'm being nervous with a thing that I don't know.

I can look at him directly and I can just sight him from the side of my right eye.

He's looking at me very straight, I can't help but to keep in silence and play my lips.

"Hey. Look at me," He spoke, to which I looked at him, "Something hurts?"

I just felt weird because he's staring at me straightly.

"N-nothing. I-I am okay now." I pushed him slightly coz he's to close to me, "I mean, you don't need to look at me like that." With matching shake of head.

He moved a little bit but his eyes were still on me. "You are really beautiful."

I suddenly blushed, how did he say so? I mean, Yes I'm kinda pretty but, him saying that to me?
