I'm 'A'

[Lyla POV]

-Beep beep beep-

My alarm was going off.

"Alright! I'm up!"

Today was my first day of my sophomore year in high school! I go to an Arts high school because I want to become an idol. I better not be late on my first day lol. I get up and stretch. I head to my closet looking for a cute outfit i didn't want to look bad on my first day. Still half asleep i pull out a cute blouse, aqua colored shorts, a cute bag, and a white belt. Then I did my hair. I went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I don't really know makeup so I don't use any. I mean, I look fine without makeup anyway. I'm a K pop fan and my favorite singer is IU. She's my idol. She's so perfect! I hope to be like her someday. Okay, I should probably go downstairs for breakfast before I get too late. I go downstairs and greet my mom.

"Good morning!"

"Good morning honey! What would you like to eat for breakfast? Oatmeal or toast?", She asked turning my way.

"I'll have both"

"Haha don't eat too much or else you'll get fat!" she laughed while reaching for the cabinet.

"Don't worryyy I'll just lose it all by dancing!" I sang jokingly.

We started laughing.

*At School*

[Lyla POV]

"Hazel!" Hazel is my friend at school. She's Korean and I'm Half Korean and half Chinese.

"Lyla!" Hazel exclaims as she runs over to me, waving her hands in the air.

"I can't wait to start school this year!"

"Me too! I wonder if we have the same classes together?"

"I hope so. But last year we didn't have any together except for lunch.", I thought remembering freshman year.

"Ha ha everyone has lunch together." she said interupting my thoughts.

I calmed down from my excitement, "Yup! I still want to be an idol like IU."

"Well we are going to have to work hard if we want to make it in the auditions."

"Yeah... Okay, so let's see, what do you have 1st period?"

We brought our schedules side by side compairing our classes. "I have... let's see... singing class wi- OMG WE HAVE THE SAME FREAKING CLASS!", I blurted out catching the people nearby's attention, I quickly covered my mouth embarrassed of my outburst.

"Calm down Lyla!" whispered Hazel so that only I could hear.

"Okay..."

Then the bell rang.

"Well, let's go to class now!" Hazel said.

[Lyla POV]

*At singing class*

When we arrive at our singing class, I saw microphones, speakers, and little practice rooms for practicing. (duh) Hazel and I quickly find our seats.

"Okay, so today I will be observing how well you sing so do your best today!" Announced Ms. Kim, our singing teacher.

"Okay!" We all said enthusiasticly.

"Today, since it is the first day of school, I will let you choose your own partners for the duet project that we will be doing."

A project already!? Well I know who I'm pairing up with... Hazel of course.

The class grew loud with everyone picking their partners before Ms. Kim could explain what the peoject is.

Ms.Kim hushed the class down before proceeding ,"Okay! Now you may choose your partners!"

As soon as I look at Hazel, another girl was already asking her to be partners.

[Hazel POV]

"Okay! Now you may choose your partners!"

Once Ms. Kim said that, a really cute girl came up to me and asked me to be her partner.

"Hi! My name is Amy Smith! Do you want to be partners?" She asked.

I wanted to be partners with Lyla so I gently turned her down.

"Sorry, I already have someone as my partner."

"Oh, really?" Amy asks pouting.

"Yeah so I'm sorry. Can we be friends though?"

"Sure!" Amy says then she walks away.

I feel bad, but I hope she gets a partner. I go to Lyla and ask her to be my partner.

[Lyla POV]

Hazel asked me to be her partner and told me that the girl who came up to her earlier was Amy Smith and how she wanted to be her friend.

"Okay, anyway let's choose a song!" Hazel says.

"How about Blank Space by Taylor Swift?" I ask. Then I spot Amy looking at me.

"Can you hear mee!?" Hazel asks talking louder.

"Oh sorry, I spaced out for a second there can you repeat?"

"I said okay!" Hazel responds.

"Okay! Sounds fun. Let's go practice."

Hi! This is my first fanfic I've ever written. How was it? GOT7 will be in this story soon I promise. I spent a lot of time on this and I want to write more long chapters. My friend helps me edit this so I hope that there won't be much mistakes. (Her bias is Bambam in case anyone was wondering.) Please vote and share!
