Audition

* At the audition waiting lobby *

[Lyla POV]

I've practiced this song called Habits (Stay High) By Tave Lo. I feel like I won't forget the lyrics (I think). I've been doing Taekwondo since I was in kindergarten, I really like the sport though sometimes I'm really lazy, anyways I hope it'll help me stand out from everyone else auditioning.

"Hazel, let's do our best!" I say nervously, I've been practicing alot and I'm pretty sure I won't mess up, but im really forgetful when it comes to lyrics. Hazel looked at me and nodded as a response. She looks a little restless, I wonder if shes nervous too. Hazel and I stood in line in silence, the atmosphere felt dense.

"Girls, no need to be so nervous you're going to pass! You worked so hard for this." My mom encouraged, she probably noticed that we were tense.

"Yup! We will pass!" Hazel said encouragingly. I feel better now that everyone else has confidince in us. I turned around too see the how long the line was until we had to audition. I saw someone in the crowd that stood out. She had medium black hair and was pretty short. Hmm I feel like I've seen her before somewhere but where?

"Amy!" I say finally remembering. She was the person that asked Hazel to be her partner for the project, I still feel pretty bad for that.

"Lyla?"

[Amy POV]

I hear a voice call my name.

"Amy!" I turn around to see who it is. Uhhh, oh its... its? Lucy? Layla? Lyla?, whatever what does she want anyways.

"Lyla?" I say facing her, putting on an innocent face.

[Lyla POV]

Amy turned around and smiled at me.

"Lyla?"

"Hi! Are you also auditioning?" Amy stepped out of the line coming toward my direction.

"Yup! With Hazel." I'm happy that Hazel is here with me, I jumped up and down subconsciously

"Oh, hi Amy!" I barely noticed that Hazel had walked over to us, I stopped jumping and almost scream. How did she even get here so quickly and silently.

"Hey, Hazel!" Amy didn't seem to get scared, I guess it's just me.

"So, we're all here to audition, so let's all do our best!" Hazel cheered. I started laughing and so did Hazel and Amy, everyone else auditioning looked at us as if we were crazy. I guess they had a point.

We kept talking then until Amy heard her number being called. I forgot to ask her what number she was, I didn't listen to the announcement I wounder when im going to be called....oh well I went back to talking to Hazel.

"Next, number 281!" (I don't really know how they get called)
