Overhearing

[Lyla POV]

"But first let's tell Ms. Kim what song we want to sing." I said.

"Okay, let's go!" Hazel said excitedly.

We go to Ms. Kim and we tell her what song we want to sing.

"Okay, so Blank Space by Taylor Swift right?" She asks while typing it on the computer.

"Yes!" We both say.

"Okay, well class is ending soon so you guys should pack up." Ms. Kim says before going to tell the rest of the class to pack up.

I start packing up. As soon as the bell rings, I say bye to Hazel and go to my next class.

- After School -

[Lyla POV]

Me and Hazel meet where we usually meet after school. At the benches in the park.

"Hi Hazel!" I say as I wave at her.

"Hey!" She replies waving back.

"Well today I have to go to dance practice so I can't hang out today. I'll text you when I can okay?" I tell her.

"Okay. Well then I have to go! I have to catch up on this drama I've been watching lately. Remember to text me! See ya!" She says as she walks away waving at me at the same time.

* At Dance Practice *

[Lyla POV]

"Hey, Ms. Hae!" I say as I walk into my dance class studio.

Ms. Hae is my dance trainer and she is Korean. She's really nice and she's like my mom.

"Oh hey Lyla! Ready for class today?" She asks.

"Yup! Is there anything new today?" I ask her.

"No, but I can tell that you are working hard for your dream as an idol."

Confused on why she mentioned my dream of being an idol, I answer, "Yeah, but I still have a long, long way to go. Anyway, let's start class now! I want to start dancing."

- After 1 hour of practice -

[Lyla POV]

I get my water bottle because I'm getting thirsty. Ms. Hae is being really pushy today, huh. Then I better work harder!

- After dance practice -

[Lyla POV]

"You worked hard today! Keep up the good work then you will get closer to your dreams!" Ms. Hae says, then leaves the room.

I pack up my bag and then text Hazel.

To: Hazeliee ☆

Hiii!! I just finished dance practice and I'm soooo tired! I'm going home right now by the way.

"Aaaannnnd sent. Okay, now I just have to walk home."

[Lyla POV]

"Hey mom!" I say as I opened the front door of the house.

"Hi! So how was practice?" She asks.

"It was fun. Oh, and can Hazel come over today?"

"Sure. Ask her if shes going to stay til dinner" She answers as she gets ingredients to start cooking.
