It's 4:30PM in the Evening, and it's almost Sunset, Neo Dash and Rarity are lining up side by side, because this is not a 7 VS 7 Race. This is a Head-To-Head Challenge that Neo Dash Offered Rarity. The race will take place at the Edinburgh Station Circuit, 3 Laps, Looping around the station, 21 Turns in Total but all at the same place.
Neo Dash: You're ready for this Challenge?
Rarity: Of Course, I am Darling.
Neo Dash: Alright, Let's see what you got there Darling...
Rarity: Let's do this!
*both of them enters the car*
Since this is a Head-To-Head race, there only 2 cars in this track. The rest of the team from The Rainbooms are now Enjoying the show, waiting at the Start / Finish Line which is just right beside Edinburgh Station, watching them Start and doing fly-by until one of them Crosses the line. Engines are revving at this point, waiting for the Green Light to flash.
*20 seconds later*
The Green Light Flashes. Neo Dash goes off first, with Rarity staying close right behind her. First and Second turns after the station are sharp enough as it looked like a Straightened Z letter. After the Z letter turn, Rarity Steps on the gas pedal, overtaking Neo, and then Neo stays close behind Rarity, because a 3rd turn is just right ahead. Then, both of them Slipstreams until they reach the Tram Station, both of them went Side By Side and then continues to Slipstream. When it comes to the Back Side of the Station, Neo Dash overtakes Rarity again from the outside line or it's at the oncoming lane.
2 Sharp Turns are ahead. Rarity overtakes Neo Dash back from the outside, short straight line are ahead, Neo Dash attempted to overtake but Rarity blocked her. Another Sharp turn ahead, heading back to the Straight line. Both of them went from the outside line to the inside as it's the only way for a cornering. At the Station, each member of The Rainbooms yelled "Come on Neo! Come on Darling!" with a Megaphone. And Rarity talked to herself, "I believe in myself, I can!" Second Lap is on, She overtakes Neo from the Outside line, stealing chances.
At the Straight Line, Neo Dash overtakes back, and then Rarity stays close right behind her. Neo Dash talks to herself "Nice Skills Darling!" Then, Rarity Slipstreams Neo, and then overtakes again from the Outside line. At the roundabout, Rarity overtakes Neo Dash again. Reaching the back of the Station, Rarity closes Neo Dash so that she couldn't get a chance to overtake. Same thing happens at the 2nd Turn at the back of the Station. Neo Dash was shocked at first. But that is a normal thing to her as this is also a part of Defending Position. Neo Dash attempted overtaking Rarity from the outside line, but Rarity realizes and she blocked her either from the Inside and Outside, which means she could be doing zig zags while turning.
Final Lap is on, or it's known as the Third Lap, this is where the situation will be more intense because after the last turn, the finish line is ahead. Rarity closed the curves, so Neo Dash have to stay right behind her. At the Straight Line, Neo dash overtakes her back, and then closed the Inside Line. In the Tram Station Separation, Rarity went Fly-By on the Shoulder or it's right beside The Left Tram Line, passing Neo Dash by downshifting 2 Gears. She learned this trick from Sunset Shimmer in the previous race with The Dazzlings.
Closing the Inside Line, Neo Dash staying right behind her, doing slipstreaming. When it comes to the last 4 Turns, Neo Dash overtakes Rarity from the right, then she closes the line. Rarity stays right behind her as the 2nd Last Turn is close enough to the 3rd Last turn. In the last straight line, Rarity overtakes Neo Dash again, and then went fast leaving Neo Dash behind like around 12 Meters. Neo Dash speaks to herself "Darling surely got a nice skill, she's good"
The Last Turn is here. Rarity Closes the Inside Line, with Neo Dash right behind her. Full Throttle mode on as the Finish Line is in front of them, Rarity Downshift's and went 4 Meters ahead of Neo Dash, this makes Rarity wins the Challenge as she crossed the Finish Line. They stopped 200 Meters after the Finish Line. When they stopped, the rest of The Rainbooms team approached both of them.
Pinkie Pie: Nice Skills Rarity!
Applejack: Ya got a nice skill there.
Fluttershy: That was Intense, Rarity. Nice One!
Rarity: Thanks everybody...
Sunset Shimmer: I'm sure you learned the Downshift Trick from me right?
Rarity: Yes, during the Otleydale Reservoir Run.
Sunset Shimmer: I predicted it. You must have known that trick from me.
Powerful Sparkle: You did downshift instantly two gears like what she did?
Rarity: Yes.
Powerful Sparkle: Ooh I see...
Neo Dash: Darling, I have to say, you really impressed me in this challenge. You got a big skill, defending position, and also overtaking and closing lines. I can't believe you won in this challenge I offered you. Nice Skills Darling!
Rarity: Thanks Neo Dash...
Neo Dash: No Problem Darling, the last minute was intense overall.
Powerful Sparkle: Alright, where shall we go?
Applejack: Head down to Ambleside, I'm on the mood for some Ice Creams!
Everybody: Alright, Let's go!!
