Inevitable (A Final Fantasy Versus XII: Noctis And Stella Fanfiction)

Chapter Two

Here I am, drinking my favourite rosemary tea. Looking at the bright sky. Sunlight, morning at six in the morning. I am happy to still see Noctis well.

I won't see his despair anytime soon. Which I am very thankful off. I want him to be free because I guess, which I really hope would not happen, his whole life would be miserable. I wish things were different in reality. That we can be friends. No betrayals like these.

But what do I know? What if he betrays me too? Ever since, I never knew who he was really. Was he a quite boy or a standoffish gentleman? All of these things between us are facades. Facades that are not easy to tore apart. Our families come first. Not petty friendship.

It is a weekend and once again, here at the veranda enjoying the breeze and bright sun. Do I love Noctis or was it just admiration? Huh, I maybe just pity him. I stood up looking at my own reflection at the lake. Who am I really? I am Stella Nox Fleuret but what else am I suppose to be?

I cringed and walked away. I decided to go and wander off silently at home. I want to enjoy every second I have with him because I would betray him. I actually want to betray him as soon as possible. I want Tenebrae to be a free kingdom. Not a puppet by someone else. Can Noctis hurt me? I bet he can't. He by far looks like a gentleman.

I decided to go on the mall by myself. Wearing a lilac colored long sleeved dress that reaches my knees and white heels. My hair is loose. I look around and see the common folk. I have not yet have the power I should have acquired right now. I wonder on when I would get it.

I can see when someone is going to get hurt but cannot stop it. I look around and see a common face. "Noctis", I said softly.
I turned away and decided to use the elevator. I got out then I see Prompto with Ignis and Gladiolous. "What are they doing here?" I asked out loud. "Miss, let's go down again", I told the elevator girl and lucky me, in no minute, we are down again and wow. Noctis is facing the elevator. "Miss-", she immediately closed the elevator. "I think you are avoiding lots of people today, miss. Let's go to the second floor", I smiled at her suggestion.

I was at the second floor in no minute. Prompto, Ignis, and Gladioulous were just talking outside the elevator while Noctis was about to ride the elevator and he saw me. I hope he does not remember. I decided to walk when: "Miss Stella, you're here?" Ignis asked me faced to face. "Yes and I was about to leave", I said and got back to wait for the elevator. He opened and came Noctis. "Stella", he said to which I said: "Hello Noctis. Goodbye", I passed him and got in the elevator. "Are you alright, miss?" I nodded at the elevator girl.

We got and decided to leave the mall when
I got hungry. "I want outside food. Oh well", I decided to ride an escalator. I got back to the second floor where I see Noctis and his friends. I got away and looked for food. "Nothing I like", I got to where Noctis is when: "Miss Stella", Prompto said to which I smiled. "Where are you going?" Noctis asked me. "I will have my lunch", he smiled and said: "I will escort you if you would like me too", he said shyly. "I'm fine but thank you", I said and walked away. I got to a five star restaurant and had my meal. I got out after an hour to see Noctis and his friends.

"Noctis, nice weather, don't you agree?" I asked to which he replied: "Yes", I smiled. "When we were kids, I remembered that we use to take care of Pryna and Umbra. Those were the good days", he smiled. "How are they doing?" He asked. "They're healthy and always happy", he smiled. "That's great. I was just relaxing with our friends since it's a weekend. The situation between Lucis and Nifheilm is quite intriguing", he said.

"Why do you say so?" I asked. "Nifheilm was never a welcoming nation. Why does it suddenly want to form an alliance with Lucis?" He said to which I looked at him. His eyes, with a hint of uncertainty. "Do you think they are changing for the better? People change don't they?" I said to which he shook his head. "Some may change for the worse", he replied.
