Inevitable (A Final Fantasy Versus XII: Noctis And Stella Fanfiction)

Chapter Three

I woke up and looked at the sunlight beaming from my room's window panes. I looked at the clock and see that it is seven in the morning. The wedding will be at four in the afternoon.

I shoud get ready now. I stretched my arms and got up. Today is my wedding day. Time flied so quickly. Maids helping me get dressed and arranging my hair and make up. I cannot believe this is happening.

"Lady Stella, you look bothered", Gentiana told me to which I fake a smile. "Today is my wedding day. I feel nervous", she laughed. "Not your wedding day. The day Tenebrae gets victory once it gains the power of the Crystal. So do not fail", she told me. I looked at her.

"I know. It gives me happiness", I smiled at her and she gave me a smile. The maids and Gentiana left after I was prepared.
I looked back at the door and locked it.
I stepped infront of the mirror and I see a different me. A woman who has a neat bun, an elegant long white gown and heels. I have a long white veil and a bouquet of calla lilies. I also wear white gloves.

I fake a smile infront of the mirror. Tears slowly streaming down my face. "I. don't. I don't want to lose you, Noctis", I said and put down the bouquet and wiped my tears.
"But I have to", I said full of regret. But it won't matter anymore when the plan flows smoothly.

I sighed and got the bouquet. I want to remember you always, Noctis. I hope that this is not end. That we don't end up fighting each other. I don't want this to be a war. So please don't come.

I walked out of the room and see guards waiting for me. Pryna and Umbra waiting for me. "Lady Stella", they both said and I smiled at them. I walked slowly as guards are guarding me. I went inside the car and there is Pryna and Umbra in their human forms. Also, there is Ravus.

"Don't get hurt or else-" Ravus started but I stopped him. "I won't. Don't worry", I told him to which he looked at me. "Do not protect that man, Stella", I laughed. "Me, protecting him? No, I never did", I answered.
He would hurt Noctis if I get hurt.

A long hour travel when we finally arrived at the wedding place. This is it. Ravus and the guards help me get out of the car. I held my bouquet properly as piano music started playing. Guards helping me with my veil and Ravus by my side. Guests are already inside. "Let's go", Ravus said to which I nodded. We walked towards the grand doors as it opened.

Guests looking at us from inside. We walked towards the door followed by guards. There, I see Noctis and his friends. The best man is Prompto. This is a civil wedding. We walked until we reached the reception.

Noctis is a handsome human being. But in terms of behaviour, everything about him seems mysterious. He looks at me with no emotion. I looked very happy to see him. But I sense that his face looks like that always.

I finally was infront of him. I breathed heavily. I then looked at the announcer.
"Do you, Noctis Lucis Caelum, take Stella Nox Fleuret as your bride to be? And you will take care of her in sickness and in health? Till death do you part?" The civil wedding announcer asked Noctis and looked at him.

"I do", Noctis finally answered after a few seconds. "Do you, Stella Nox Fleuret , take Noctis Lucis Caelum as your groom to be?
And you will take care of him in sickness and in health? Till death do you part?" The announcer asked me and I looked at Noctis face to face and to the announcer. "I do", the announcer looked at both of us.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife", he said. There were thousands of claps.

Noctis looked at me and I smiled at him.
He smiled a little. The doors were suddenly kicked open and came in Magitek troops. The captain of the troops were also there.
Guards came from above and held Noctis arms. Some troops came towards me and held my arms tightly. The guards were held all by the troops. They ran and I looked back at Noctis. "Noctis!" I cried for help. I looked at him as tears rush through my eyes. The troops guarded all of them in the palace.
