Friends in Konoha

Chapter Six: Love, Hate, and Nosy Ninjas?

Naruto was walking past the Uchiha part of town, carefully observing the place. As he was walking by he heard a voice call out from within the complex...and it wasn't 'Mike'. Naruto and the others found out the stranger's name from Tsunade, who told them to not worry about the strange ninja. He sighed as he just walked past the complex to find his friends.
It has been two weeks since Naoki arrived in the village, and one since his siblings' visit. Naoki was going to finally get the courage to go up to Naruto and try to 'explain' to him that he was just a traveler and a lucky survivor, when he received yet another visit from an unexpected visitor that Naoki wished he didn't see again...
"Hello? Naoki-kun?" a girl's voice rang out into the Uchiha complex. Naoki, who was drinking tea, spit out the tea in a comedic and cartoonish way. He coughed and tried to recover. He stayed quiet as he stood up and tip-toed you window to 'confirm' his suspicions. When he was about to reach a window, the door got kicked down again. As Mike was about to run up his stairway quickly, avoiding the person, someone tackled him to the ground.
"Naoki-kun!" the girl said cheerfully as she hugged Naoki to death.
"K-Kyoko?!" Naoki struggled to say as Kyoko squeezed him to death. Kyoko was Naoki's ex-girlfriend, who he broke up with in order to protect from the massacre that happened to him. Kyoko was also the same age as Naoki and Sasuke, which made the breakup more depressing than it had to for Naoki.
"Didn't you miss me, Naoki-kun?" Kyoko said, still on Naoki. Her long black hair was dangling near his face, and her Leaf Headband didn't help stop the hair at all...she was also dressed in the Leaf Jonin jacket like a certain copy ninja without the mask.
"I do...it's just that I didn't expect to see you..." Naoki said as he looked away from Kyoko's eyes.
The night of the massacre, after Naoki woke up from being knocked out, Naoki himself dragged himself to the village gate in shambles. When he reached the gate, he saw Kyoko standing in his way.
"Naoki-kun!" she cried as she ran up to Naoki and hugged him when she saw him in shambles.
"Kyoko...I'm sorry...I don't want your to get hurt either..." Naoki said wearily.
"Wh-What do you mean?" Kyoko asked.
"...I am breaking up with you...we probably shouldn't be dating since we are only nine..." Naoki struggled to say. At that, Kyoko let go of Naoki and almost started to cry. Naoki felt bad for her, and wished he could stay.
"I'm sorry, Kyoko..." Naoki muttered as he went up to her slowly. She looked back at him with tears in her eyes, and then Naoki closed the distance between them and their lips. Their first kiss was bittersweet, and the two wished they could have stayed there longer. Naoki backed away, and then slowly trudged away. Kyoko stood there surprised and she looked at Naoki as he walked away. Her hair and tears were blowing in the wind, and she then fell to a sit position on the ground as she watched Naoki's figure disappear into the darkness of the forest.
"I'm sorry I left you there that night..." Naoki said looking back at Kyoko, who was still on top of him. She just smiled and moved closer to his face.
"You can make it up to me then." Kyoko said gently as they kissed after what has been forever. The two stayed like this for two minutes until they both couldn't breathe anymore. Kyoko then got off of Naoki, and then said her goodbyes as she left the establishment, also promising to visit again.
Naoki sighed as he saw Sakura stare at Kyoko with surprise. Apparently Sakura and Kyoko were friends as well.
"I really don't want to use her to get Naruto's trust..." Naoki muttered as he touched his lips gently. He then shook his head and then got ready to go to an Akatsuki meeting.
"So your girlfriend came back to you, how does it feel 'un'?" Deidara laughed as Naoki's hologram sat on the finger.
"Sh-Shut up..." Naoki said embarrassed. Itachi just smirked at that and Tobi just laughed wildly.
"Tobi is a good boy! Tobi has no time for girls, only for senpai!" he said, referring to Deidara. At that Deidara, who wasn't a hologram, threw explosive birds and insects at Tobi, who got slammed into the wall.
"Careful, idiot!" Kakazu yelled, "You almost hit me and my expensive part of the statue."
Deidara sighed, "Whatever."
The meeting was over in a matter of minutes, with a few updates on Naoki's mission in Konoha and Itachi's mission in the Hidden Sand.
"You were his girlfriend?!" Sakura asked in shock as the two were walking throughout Konoha.
"Yeah! He was real sweet to me...but he left me for my sake..." Kyoko said sadly.
"But at the time you were both nine right?!" Sakura asked.
"Yeah...I guess it was kid love..." Kyoko said blushing, remembering the first time they met.
It was a sunny day, and eight year old Naoki was fishing at the docks when he heard a girl scream deeper within the forest. He dropped his fishing rod and ran to towards the scream. When he saw a crowd of snakes attacking a girl his age, he leaped into a tree and activated his 2nd tier Sharingan. He waited just as a snake leaped at the girl to jump down and blew a fireball at the snakes.
As the snakes burned, the girl opened her eyes to see her savior struggling to carry her back to Konoha.
"You sure are heavy..." Naoki said as she blushed at his sight. She got out of his arms and got out a kunai.
"Who are you?!" she demanded. Naoki examined her head and saw the Leaf headband.
"You're from my village...I was just taking you back..." Mike said as he pointed to his headband.
The girl put away her kunai and introduced herself, "Sorry...I'm Kyoko Sato."
"I'm Naoki Uchiha, and no sweat." Naoki replied.
"Nice to meet you Kyoko, but I gotta run back to my fish!" Naoki said running off into the woods, leaving Kyoko standing there blushing.
