Backstory- Betty has been getting anonymous poets from jughead jones for the past week but she doesn't know it's him..
"Yea I'll see you there!" Betty shouts to Veronica and walks to her locker and opens it as a note fell out. She bends down and picks it up and reads it.
"She has the mindset of a queen
And a heart of a warrior
She is everything all at once
And too much for anyone who doesn't deserve her
She is you - J.J"

She smiles and looks around for who knows what maybe trying to find the person who wrote it, she puts the note in her backpack and walks to class with a beautiful smile. A raven haired boy with a crowd beanie watched from his locker and smiles at her reaction.
You don't know who I am..so I'll love you from afar. He thought.
"Veronica!" Betty says walking into the classroom "yes?" Veronica says as betty sits down and pulls out the note and gives it to her "I got another one!" Betty says as Veronica smiles as she read it "it's so beautiful damn..who ever this person is, is really into you this has been going for a whole week" Veronica says "I know..I just wish I knew who j.j was.." betty says "Johnathan James?" Veronica guessed as betty looks over to Johnathan and smiles as he smiles and walks over. Jughead walks into the same class and sat in the very back and watched as Johnathan approached betty. "Hey Johnny.." betty says as the jock smiles "hey Betty" he says "thank you for the poets" she says as Johnny looks at the poet "your welcome anything for a pretty lady like you" he says as jughead furrows his eyebrows.
Who does he think he is taking credit for my work!? Oh and for your information mr.Johnathan she's more then just a pretty lady. Jughead thought and looks down
"How about I take you to pops tonight?" The jock says as jughead looks up. Please say no please say no, jughead thought to himself. "Yes of course!" Betty giggles as jughead let's out a sigh and sinks in his chair. For the rest of the day jughead was blue. "Hey jones" Toni says walking over "what?" Jughead says shutting his locker "geez someone's woke up and chose drama queen" Toni says "whatever, what do you want?" Jughead asked "nothing but guess who scored a hot date to the winter festival!" Toni says " oh wow I wonder who" jughead says sarcastically "me! I'm going with the one and only Cheryl blossom!" Toni says as jughead raised an eyebrow "the red head that calls me hobo?" Jughead says "yes that one"Toni says "well I'm happy for you" jughead says "thanks so..why the long face?" Toni asked "nothing important" jughead says "I have to get to work tell Cheryl said hi" jughead says "okay, bye!" Toni shouts as jughead puts his hand up saying 'goodbye' Jughead walks to pops.
He walks in "hey jughead glad to see you" pops says "great to see you too" jughead says "well I need you to be a waitress today, Kimberly couldn't make it and we are short on staff due to the winter festival coming up" pops says "yea okay just let me go change into my uniform" jughead says and walks to the back of the shop and into the changing room. Jughead takes off his shirt and pulls out his uniform shirt and buttons it up, he changed his pants and took off his beanie and out of the pops hat. Jughead grabs the Apron and walks out, he puts it on and ties it on in the back as and grabs a order "hey jug" the chief says "hey pj" jughead says with a smile and takes the order to table 14.
"Okay so who is this poet wrote by? Ready. Alone by herself she built the kingdom that she wanted" betty says as jughead watched from behind the counter he watches Johnathan chocked and thinks "uh..mobydick?" He guesses as jughead brings them their drinks "false, r.h sin" jughead says and puts their drinks down as betty looks up at jughead "wow..you like poetry jughead?" Betty says "if only you knew..." he mumbles to himself "yea I actually write some of my own, r.h sin, Amanda Lovelace, Rupi kaur and Courtney Peppernell are actually my favorites" jughead says as betty smiles "they are my favorites too! What is the poet that you can connect with and which one is your favorite?" Betty asked "my father was the first man to betray me, he was also the first person to break my spirit. Iudicrum 7, page 177 by r.h sin is the poet I can connect to and-" "-sorry to break the news to you beanie boy but we are kinda on a date here and your interrupting it" Johnny says "John! Ugh I'm sorry jug" betty says as jughead smiles at her "sorry for interrupting" jughead says looking at John and looks back at betty "till next time maybe you'll hear my favorite poem" jughead says "enjoy your date" he says to the both of them looking at betty as she smiles at him as he returns that smile and walks away.
The next day betty and Veronica were seated in the student lounge while betty talked to Veronica about how bad the date with Johnathan was and how she thinks jughead was the one. "And he likes the same poetry writers like me!! Ugh! He's so good with his words and he has an incredible memory!" Betty says as Veronica laughs "girl you are so in love" Veronica says as betty smiles
"Betty Cooper please come to the office I repeat betty Cooper please come to the office" the announcement went off as betty looks at Veronica "what did you do?" Veronica asked "I don't know" betty says and gets up and walks down tk the office.
"This was left for you" the office lady says as betty picks up the note, "the road between us by Courtney Peppernell" she read and made a face as jughead walks in with red roses "she reminds me of a small town in Southern France, full of sweet and beautiful vineyards. Her hair the color of poppies in bloom, her voice the sound of waking up at noon. I could tell you that strangers kiss and it's all the same. But if your heart isn't racing and your words don't fall over each other when you speak, then she isn't the one you should be kissing. Kissing her page 40 by Courtney Peppernell that's my favorite poet" jughead says and hands betty the note and flowers as betty smiles, her heart filled with joy almost wanting to cry.
She takes them and looks at the note.
It's the same paper. She thought she looks up at him in aw finally realizing "you..you were the one writing me those beautiful poets..you are j.j" betty says as jughead takes off his beanie and blushes as betty sets the flowers down on the counter and walks closer to him. "It was you all this time" betty says "yea.." jughead says as betty smiles "hi.." she says "hi.." he says as they both began to lean in jughead pulls her in by the waist as betty cups his face, their lips touched like leaves during the fall that softly touched the floor. Their lips connected.
Both their hearts melting sinking into the kiss. Words that they couldn't find to say to each other were said though that kiss. Like electricity running down both of their spine and out their fingertips.
Everyone in the office cheered. They pulled away and pressed their foreheads against each other's "my Anonymous Poet writer...my jughead" she says as he smiles and nudges his nose against hers and smiles as she lets out a little giggle. "Will you go to the winter festival with me?" Jughead asked as betty smiles "yes jughead jones I'd love too" she says and pecks his lips once more both pulling away smiling like goof balls. God were they in love.
