(This is my longest chapter yet with 6,442 words not including this so y'all better enjoy this because I did not spend 48 hours writing this for no absolute reason lol)
Background story: they were at prom when he had found out that she had cheated on him with his best friend..
"You weren't gonna tell me we're you!?" Jughead shouts as they drove home. "I was! Jughead I was! But I..I couldn't bring myself to tell you!" Betty shouts as jughead pulls the car over "couldn't or didn't want to?" Jughead asked looking at her finally, his hands clutching onto the wheel and his jaw clenched and tears filling his eyes, "how could you? I trusted you- I loved you!" He lets out a sigh and closes his eyes "after tonight. You and I are no longer a couple" he says sternly. "Jug..JUG LOOK OUT!" Betty shouts as two bright headlights came at the driver's side smashing right into jugheads side of the door making the car flip over "betty!" Jughead shouts gasping onto her hand. Seeing the fear in her eyes before blacking out.
Jugheads Pov
"Hello Jughead Jones I am Dr.Hauler and I'm gonna help you" she says as I look around. Everything was blurry, fuzzy and my head was throbbing. There was a little boy playing on the floor with his cars. Flash. A Burnett girl laying in a bed with a bunch of machines then flash. I look back at the tiles on the celling watching them flash by.
We were in a room now. "B-betty.." "Don't try to talk.." the Doctor says as I look up to see my reflection in the light. My head was ripped open the flesh of my head lied open, blood running down my face. I could see my skull. My breathing quicken as i began to panic. My skull! I can see my skull! "Hey hey..you are in great hands. Just breath..this will put you to sleep and everything will be okay" the Doctor says and puts a breathing mask on me. The view of my ripped open head began to become blurry vision until everything went black and I was out cold.
I woke up and I was in bed. "It was just a dream" I said to myself and stood up but screamed in pain as my dad ran in. "Hey! No no no, lay down lay down" my dad said as i laid back down. My body hurts my head hurts all of it hurts so much. "W-what happened?" I asked "you were in a car accident boy, did you forget? You were discharged last night after spending almost a month there" Dad says as I looked around my room. Pictures of me and Betty on my night stand and pictures of us and jellybean hung up on my wall. "Betty..i-is she okay?" I asked dad "yea..she had a broken arm and a few cuts but she's fine you got the worse" my dad says as I let out a groan trying to remember everything that happened before the accident.
"We had gotten into a fight.." I started "I don't remember what but..I remember that what ever we were arguing about...it had hurt me a lot..mentally" I said "I pulled over the car and..I don't remember.." I said shaking my head. "It's okay boy, you are in bed rest for a week and after you will be going to leg therapy" dad says as I let out a sigh looking down at my right leg that had a cast on it. I lift up my shirt to see that it was bandaged "you were stabbed by a tree there, they said it was gonna leave a scar" dad says as I nod my head and looked around my room.
Weeks gone by leg therapy hurts like hell. In the movies they make the recovery from a car accident look so simple but it isn't. Their is so much shit that happens. Dad left to work for the first time in weeks since my accident. I was laying in bed until there was a knock at the main door. I groaned grabbing my crutches and went over to the door opening it to see a blonde haired girl at the door. "Betty? W-what are you doing here?" I asked "I came to see you" she says as I nod and let her in. We went back to my room. She sat on my bed and smiled looking at the nightstand "you still have our pictures up" she says as I sat down besides her "well why wouldn't I? Your my girlfriend..right?" I asked as betty looks at me "w-we broke up..right before the accident..d-don't you remember?" Betty asked "what?" I said.
