Cold. Why is it so dreadfully cold in Anglefire? Even the small hike to the neighbors left me wet and shivering.
My step dad looked us over when we arived at there door, narrowing his eyes at me. But said nothing before Turing and ring the doorbell.
I could hear the bell echoing throughout the house before a clack of high heals approached the door and it was flung open. One look at the lady in front of us made me feel like an octopus standing in front of a swan.
The lady had long blond hair that reached her waste and beautifully striking blue eyes.
"Hello" the lady said a grin stretching across her perfect lips revealing pearly white teeth. " you must be the Tiles, pleas come in. Hank here will take your coats "
A old gray man in a suit was standing next to the door with his arm extended. Who I'm assuming is there Butler.
My mother stepped into the house, gracefully taking of her coat and handing it to Hank, Alisa and Malisa fallowed her lead taking off there coats and handing them to Hank, without so much as a thank you.
Robert stepped in after them handing Hank his coat. I followed quickly thankful for the heat of the house.
"Thank you" I said handing Hank my coat. A small smile pulled at the eadge of his lips
" come this way" the lady said leading us down a long hallway and into what I assume is the living room.
A man was sitting on the couch arguing with the boy from the room across from mine. Neather of them seemed too happy but as soon as we walked into the living room there conversation stoped.
" hello" the man said his angry face turning plesent "I'm David Lights, I see you've meet my wife Mary"
The man, David, stuck out his hand for Robert to shake. "Robert Tile" he introduced himself. " this is my wife Diana Tile"
"How are you?" she said shaking Davids hand
" this are my two daughters Alisa and Malisa" he continued gesturing to the girls who smiled and shook Davids hand.
Roberts smile faltered "this is Diana's daughter Silver"
David smiled at me "well you don't look much like your parents, now do you?"
I clenched my fists, foursing a smile. But said nothing.
Robert cleared his throat " who is this handsome young man" he said aproching the boy David was arguing with.
"This is my son Fletcher" David said pressing his hand to the boys back.
" say hello to the new neighbors Fletcher" David pressed pushing the boy twords us.
Fletcher looked up his peculiar Violet colored eyes connecting with mine as a small smirk pulled at the eadge of his lips. he was warring a black hoodie with a pare of jeans that hung low on his hips.
With his dad standing next to him it was easy to see just how tall Fletcher was. His dad at about 5'11 was at least three inches shorter than him.
"Hello" he said in a deep rumbling voice eyes trained on me.
I felt heat go up my neck at his attention. Not sure what to do.
"Well how about we go eat" Mary said brakeing the silence "I'll introduce you to our two youngest daughter's"
