"You sure about this?" I ask nervously, grabbing onto Oikawa's arm.

"Oh calm down you big baby! They're gonna love you. Don't worry." He laughs, knocking on the house's wooden door.
A woman instantly answers the door with a big smile.

"TORUUUUUUU!" She yells, pulling him into a huge bear hug.
"Hey mom..." he chuckles while trying to squirm out of her grasp.
He looked embarrassed and it was adorable.

"Who's this?" His father asks, peaking outside. Oikawa's mom finally let him free.

He brushes himself off then puts his hand on my lower back, causing a shiver to go up my spine.
Any touch. Any damn touch feels like electricity.

"This is (y/n), she's one of my best friends." He smiles at me. I smile back at him then turn back to his parents expecting a confused or disgusted look.
Instead, his mom and dad come towards me with open arms, engulfing me in a huge group hug.

"Moooom, daaaaaad, let her go you're embarrassinggggg." Oikawa whines from the sidelines. I can barely breathe but I can't help but smile wide. They seem like such nice people.

"Come in come in! We're making a fancy supper!" His mom claps, pulling me into the house.
It's so homey, a fire place going in the background, red flowers on the table. Wood floors with soft rugs. Feels like something you would see in a Christmas movie except it's not Christmas.

"Your house is really pretty." I say to nobody in particular looking around.

"Why thank you! My husband built it." Oikawa's mom smiles warmly at her husband who's sitting down in a rocking chair.
He gives me a proud smile and I instantly notice Oikawa's features on his face. They have the same smile, eyes, cheek bones. It's insane.

Oikawa comes up to me and leads me gently to the couch in front of the fireplace where his parents can't see us.
"Your parents are so adorable." I squealed.
"No they aren't. They're old and annoying." He crosses his arms.
"I guess that's where you get the annoying part." I nudge him in the side. He gasps.
"How dare you use my own words against me. MOMMM (Y/N)'S BEING MEANNNNN!" Oikawa yells. I can hear her laugh from the kitchen.
"Teach him a lesson (Y/N)!!" She yells back. This makes me laugh. I haven't felt this at home is so long. All I need now is a hot chocolate-

"Want some hot chocolate?" Oikawa's dad asks holding a mug in front of me.

Gods. His parents are gods.

"Yes please! Thank you so much!" I happily grab the mug and take a sip. I can sense Oikawa staring at me.

"What is it Toru? You're creeping me out." I say without looking at him. He quickly looks away.

"What? Oh, I was just thinking how weird it is to see you being polite and not..." he takes a second to think. "Like yourself." He finally says.
I turn to him and glare at him with an unimpressed look.

"I hate you." I say.

"No you don't." He smirks

"I really do." I argue.

He grabs my mug out of my hand and takes a gulp.
"HEY! That's mine!" I yell, trying to grab it. He reaches over to the other side of the couch.
"Not this again. Toru I swear to god. Give me back my hot chocolate." I grumble, still trying to reach for it.

"No, it's funny." He snickers.
I reach over a bit more, loosing my balance on the couch and falling right smack on top of him.
Before I can get up off him he puts the mug down and wraps his arms around my waist.

"This is comfortable now, isn't it?" He smiles. Our faces a few inches apart.
"Y-yeah. It's pretty comfortable." I stutter. I lost my cool there. Stuttering is for the weak and the weak only.

"Can I have my hot chocolate now?" I ask, letting my body relax. I didn't realize how tense it was.

"Only if you stay here for a few more minutes." Oikawa smiles, moving a strand of hair from my eyes. I blush and look away, resting my head on his chest.
I listen to him breathe until I almost fall asleep.  I feel like I'm dozing off. A warm feeling coming over my body. Safety.

"(Y/N), (y/n), do you still want your hot chocolate?" Oikawa shakes me a bit. I snap out of my daze.
"Hm? Yeah." I answer, getting up off of him. He runs his hand through his hair and sits up, letting out a sigh.

He seems disappointed.
Why is he disappointed?

I contently take the mug and sip it until his mom announces the supper's ready.
Me and Oikawa take a seat across from each other at the table.

"Wow mom, this tastes great!" He smiles, taking a bite of his meat.

"Thanks sweetie." She smiles at him. I smile while watching their interaction. So cute.

"So (y/n), how did you meet Toru?" His dad asks. Hmmm, how did I meet Oikawa. That's a good question.

"Well my brother was in a volleyball team and he faced Oikawa at one point. I guess I met him for the first time there." I shrug.

"Ah, so you met in Highschool." He nods, sipping a glass of water.

Highschool....

~Flashback~

"OI! KUROO! BEAT THEIR ASSES!" I screamed from the bleachers. It was just a practice game but I came to see anyways.

"(Y/N), can you please shut up? You're embarrassing." Kuroo whispers at me harshly. I give him a teethy smile and a thumbs up. The game goes on and everyone seems so focused.

"Oikawaaaaaa!" A few girls squealed from beside me. Who's Oikawa?
I looked in the direction they were squealing and there he was waving at them. He was the one with the jump serve.

We made eye contact and he just stared at me for a while, he stopped waving. After a few moments he finally winked, moving his attention back to the game.

The game ended quickly.
"Heyyooo~" Oikawa ran to me while his team started packing up.
I found that kinda weird since I had no idea who he was.

"Uhhh, hi. You were good out there by the way." I say, trying to be as nice as possible.

"Ah, thanks." He rubs the back of his neck. It seemed like a robotic answer. Like he hears it all the time.
Before he can say anything else a volleyball goes flying into the back of his head, making him stumble forward.

"IWA-CHANNNNNNNNN! THAT HURTTTTTT!" He yells, storming over to him to smack him, completely forgetting I existed.

"Ready to go?" Kuroo asks, putting a hand on my shoulder. I look back to Oikawa and smile. Such a weirdo.

~end flashback~

The only time I ever talked to him again was when I first moved into my dorm.
Suga introduced him to me. We both faintly remembered our encounter, but not enough to actually say we were "friends".

"Well, you guys look cute together. She's a keeper." Oikawa's mom winks at me. I feel my face go red and Oikawa's does too.
"M-mom, I told you it's not like that. She's a friend." He looks at his mom with an annoyed look.

"Whatever you say sweetie." She smirks at us.
