Always

Chapter Three

     "Do you wanna ride with me? I know that Sara brought you." Carter asks as we stand up and gather our things. "Yeah. If you don't mind. Just let me tell Sara." I say as I walk towards Sara and Matt. "Hey Sar I'm gonna ride home with Carter." She gives me this smirk and nodes. I hug her and Matt before I go back over to Carter.

   "Ready?" Carter asks as he takes my hand and I nod. We pack up the car and head to my house. We drive to my house in silence except for the music playing softly in the back ground. If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hapburn by Sleeping with Sirens comes on and I turn it up. We both are singing along. We pull up to my house and no lights are on except for the porch lite. We get all our stuff out of his car and take it up to my bed room. We change into pjs and I head to the kitchen. I put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and search for a bowl. Once I finally find one, I grab two cups and mountain dew from the fridge. I hear Carter come down the stairs as I pour our drinks. Carter walks behind me and wraps his arms around my waist and lays his head on my shoulder. I love it when he does this. I smile to my self. "What movie first?" Carter asks after waiting in a comfortable silence for a couple if minutes. "Either the notebook or the fault in our stars." "Awe really? Chick flicks?" "Okay fine what do you wanna watch?" I ask as I giggle at his hate for chick flick. "Final destination." He answer quickly. "Okay, go put it in." Carter moves from behind me and runs to the living room. The popcorn beeps and I pity it into the bowl before grabbing other and the drinks and heading to the living room.

   I stretch out over Carter as he presses play. Half way through the movie I start to doze off. When the movie is over, Carter picks me up and carries me to bed. Carter lays behind me and I snuggle up to him. I am drifting to sleep when I hear Carter whisper" I love you, Emma." I'm to groggy to reply. I only wake up once that night. I wake up with my face and hands against Carter's chest and both of his arms wrapped around my waist. I blush and grin. Not long after I fall back into a dream my sleep.

  I wake up the next morning and Carter isn't in bed. I get up and do my morning routine before walking downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and Carter is standing in front of the stove. I can smell bacon and pancakes. Carter turns around and notices me standing there. "Go on back up to bed and I'll be up with breakfast on a little bit." Carter says before kissing my for head and going back to cooking. I smile and head back up stairs. I grab my iPod and plug it into my dock. The first song to cone in is Mean to me by Brett Eldridge. I smile and snuggle back in my bed. I hear footsteps from my stairs about 15 minutes later. Carter walks in my room and I can't help but smile at him. He sits the food on my lap and then he sits at my feet." Arebt you going to eat?" I ask Carter. "Nah. I'm not hungry. I actually need to talk to you about something." "Is everything okay?" I ask. "Yeah. But I gotta tell you something." "Okay shoot." "I love you, Emma."
