The sky was still buried in its dark coat when the eldest woke up in a sursaut with a little surprise: two arms thrown on his body. The prince rubbed his eyes and sat up in vain to free himself from their embrace, analyzing the bodies slowly breathing next to him. 'What even-' Jimin shook his head and got out of bed without making any noise. He slipped into his shoes and grabbed his bag to pull out a map, a feather pen, and carefully lit up a candle. He sat by the table near the window to admire the the early morning moon, then shifted back to his first preoccupation, the plan.
Jimin unfolded the map, making sure not to make any noise, and place it on the small wooden table, he placed the candle close to it and let the poor flame lit up his papers. He reached his bag to pull out another necessity, his plants encyclopedia, luckily, he managed to find the pocket format of the book, it would have been uncomfortable to carry around the original version. The prince opened the book to a page he had previously marked: The Black Rose. The black Rose was the key to the second piece of the Crystal Poem, by finding the plant, their would probably be a hidden message to it, or it could be anything; anything that looked like a clue to their mission.
Jimin began to re-read the page dedicated to the Black Rose.
The Black Rose of Nevillia
The Black Rose is and extremely rare plant that is found in the Green Stone Kingdom. The rose only blooms every twenty years on the seventh day of the seventh month and lasts for about seven weeks. It's location is not described distinctly, and its attributes as well.
For many years this mythic plant has only been heard throughout legends and fairy tails; or the rare countrymen having encountered one were see as crazy, delusional people. In legends it is said that one chooses man will be able to posses this rose.
Jimin sighed, he had read those paragraphs over and over many times, but none of these information was helping, so far all his choices were made based on guesses, but not actuals facts. Jimin wasn't sure about this anymore, but he couldn't back up. He had set himself as the leader of this mission up until now, he couldn't let his comrades down, and even more; he couldn't his father down, his kingdom; he just couldn't. It was his duty as a prince, and he had to carry it with honor, this is what the prince did.
Jimin grabbed his feather pen and dipped it his black velvet ink before drawing and mapping their route for the day. Being unfamiliar with the region, it was a hassle to figure out which roads to take and which roads to avoid. But Jimin being Jimin did not want to ask help from Taehyung and would rather struggle and be proud of the efforts he put in. In a certain way it made sense.
The prince glanced at his pocket watch; it indicated five fifty, it was time to get ready. The plan was to leave as soon as the sun woke, and stop when he would disappear, they would spend the whole day outside. Jimin got up form his seat and went to the door. He exited the room wanting to get some fresh morning air. It was the middle of September and the air was surprisingly warmer in the morning.
The Green Stone castle only had two distinct seasons: Autumn and Winter. Jimin did not dare to imaging what winter was like, if it already started snowing in September, it would be way worst in December. The morning started making its first steps into the scenery and Jimin decided It was time to get back inside.

Back in the room, Jungkook and Taehyung were still sound asleep, until Taehyung felt the emptiness next to him. The blondie rolled on his left side, facing the window and letting the orange light warm his face, then in a sudden flash he came back to reality, "Jungkook! Jungkook-" "What! Leave me five more min-" "where is Jimin?" Jungkook rose, face still asleep, "What- oh where is Jimin!" "I just asked you this question!" "Quick get up!" Taehyung rolled out of bed jumping in his shoes and exited the room followed by the brunette. Both ran in the hallways whisper screaming the eldest's name. Then ran up and down the stairs, not finding a trace of Jimin. "Oh No! Jimin where did you go this time," Jungkook whined. "Calm down he mustn't have gone too far" "how do you know-"
"Oh I was about go and wake you-" Taehyung shifted back when he heard the familiar voice, "Jimin!" Jungkook ran to the shortest boy, "Oh Jimin! Don't leave like that!" Jungkook youngest pulled the prince in a tight warm hug, followed by the blondie. "I was just outside taking a walk, no worries needed-" "The last time you did that, you went to look for a cave by yourself!" Taehyung replied. "You know I would never do that, I promised you guys" Jimin replied calmly, not being able to hide his smile, while the two boys were enlacing him. "no need to worry anymore" he said while ruffling Jungkook's hair, "we have bigger concerns, we need to leave here now" Jungkook let go of Jimin, Taehyung following, and looked at the shorter boy, "but we don't have a plan" "Do not fear, I have what we need. Do you trust-" "Yes! Yes we do" They replied in unison, "ok, good"
The three boys made their way back to their room to pick up their materials and belongings. Jimin took a last look to the window with the table and turned to face the door. He sighed and smiled before stepping out and closing the door. The three princes walked in the hallways finding the exit of the inn, before leaving Jimin placed a small bag filled with gold coins to pay for the night. It was way more than the actual price but it didn't matter to the prince. As they were about to leave, a voice refrained them.
"Wait!" The small group turned around alerted by the voice. "You guys were not planing on leaving this early without food," The three boys exchanged looks. "Oh, but we-" "Ah ah, I was waiting for you" She smiled, Taehyung frowned, "H-How?" She smiled while filling bags with food for the day, "prince Park, prince Jeon and," she looked at Taehyung, "Prince Kim. Am I right?" The three princes looked at the old lady dumbfounded, they couldn't tell if she actually knew them, or was just joking. "I know what you are after, your majesty" she said while looking at Taehyung. "The Black Rose" Jungkook frowned, "Who are you and what do you want?" he said in an aggressive tone, "Oh do not fret, your majesty. I want you good," she smiled, "then explain yourself-" "Let her talk," Taehyung cut.
"I was informed of your venue, I have been waiting for you all these years. I am afraid I cannot tell you the reasons but it is my duty to guide you to your next stop" "why can't you tell us?" She smiled again, "you will found out the answer soon enough, now take this and follow me"
The three boys looked at each other hesitantly and followed in silence the host of the inn. She led them to the back of the small establishment, into what seemed to be an underground tunnel. "Don't be scared!" She entered first, followed by Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin last. It was dark and lugubre, so, she lit up a candle. The walk was silent, but it was a heavy silence and the boys felt it, but they continued. "Where are we going?" Jungkook asked, the old lady did not bother to turns aroud to answer him, "that you will find out yourself" Jungkook rolled his eyes.
