Lexi- do you really think my mom could ever get in the way of us ;)? I texted while wiping my tears. Jack- that's my girl! I giggled at his text. It was late at night so I thought I would just take a quick shower and go to bed. I was pulling up my covers until I heard a branch snap outside my window. I jolted up and tiptoed to my window and peeked out. "What the fuck jack you scared me" I said whispering so my mom wouldn't hear. "Oh no I'm totally fine" Jack said groaning in pain. "Oh my god should I go down there and help you"? I asked looking down. "No it's fine, I'll find away up there" Jack said as he sat up. "There's a ladder on the other side" I said. I sat back on my bed and waited for him to climb up the window. He climbed through the window and cuddled up next to me. "Jack"? I asked with my face cuddled up against his chest. "Yes baby girl"? He said. "do you love me"? I asked looking into his eyes. "Of coarse I do" he said kissing my forehead. I heard a faint snore and started to drift off to sleep hearing his heartbeat.
-Monday Morning-
I wake up and stretched my arms. I turn around and frown that the love of my life wasn't next to me. Jack must've left during the night while I was sleeping. I get out of bed and got ready for school. I got in my car and drove to school. I parked and walked through "the doors". I got all of my books then went to go look for Jack. "Hey have you guys seen Jack"? I asked Sammy and Nate. "No" the both said. "Ok thanks anyway" I said walking back to class. As I was walking through the halls to my first period class I heard familiar voices. "Just leave her already, she's not good enough for you" I heard Victoria say. As I turned around the corner I hear Jack say " Victoria stop she's my girlfriend stop ruining everything" he said stomping away from that bimbo. I quickly walk to class and almost trip on my way there. "Alright class today we're going to assign partners for our next big project coming up" the teacher said with envy. "Yay" everyone said mumbling. Jack came on late as usual. He glances at me and takes a seat next to me. I can't help but smile back. " alright first pair is Lina and Joey" she said. -skip to last two pairs-
"Lexi and sammy" she said. "Last pair is Jack and Victoria" she said while going into directions. Great my boyfriend is partners with his clingy ex. Well at least I'm with Sammy.

P.O.V
I caught myself staring at Lexi's beautiful features when Mrs.Bender calls both of our names. I never told her that I had feelings for her. I've always been jealous of Jack when they started dating. I looked over to Lexi and smiled at her. She faked smiled and glanced at Jack and Victoria taking about their project. "I'm sorry" I mouthed to her. She just smiled and shrugged her shoulders as she came over to me. " text me tonight okay" she said smiling at me. I started blushing. "Uh yea great" I said stuttering a little. I watched as she walked out of class hand in hand with Jack. I frowned and picked up my bag and went to my next class.

-skip to after school-
I was setting up me and Sammy's project and texted him to come over. We were both sitting on my bedroom floor. "So how was your day" I asked trying to make things less awkward. "It was okay, yours"? he said gluing the project pieces together. "It was ok" I said shrugging. We were both reaching for a pencil and accidentally touched our hands together. I never realized that our face were really close as we stared to stare into each others eyes. I was dozing off when sammy started to lean in and I leaned back. "Oh my god Lexi I'm so sorry" sammy said standing and scratching the back of his neck. "Um it's okay" I said awkwardly. "I'll just go" he said more of like a question. "Yea sure ill text you I said smiling. After we said our goodbyes I sighed and plopped myself on the couch. "We'll that was awkward" I said to myself.
-skip to Saturday afternoon-
I was laying on my bed when I got a phone call. "Hello" I said through the phone. "Hey baby, did you want to go to a party tonight"? I heard Jack say. "I can't my mom is home" I said disappointed. "Then just use an excuse" he said in a duh tone. "Ok fine but I don't have anything to wear" I said. "You don't have to wear anything" Jack said. "I'm serious" I laughed. "Ok don't worry just find the shortest dress you have" he said basically smirking. "Fine only because I feel like it" I said giggling. "I can't wait to rip that dress off of you tonight" Jack said. "Oh my god Jack" I laughed. "Alright get ready" he said and said goodbye.
I got dressed and did more makeup than I usually wear and curled my hair. This dress is so short that if I bend over, my butt would be hanging out. I had to make up an excuse, so I wore and cardigan and leggings over my dress so it would look normal. "Hey mom I'm going out to the library to meet some friends" I said smirking. "Alright be careful" she said drinking her coffee. I walk outside and get in my car and park my car a block away so my mom wouldn't suspect anything. I texted Jack so he could pick me up. I sit on the curb, I look up and see a familiar jeep. "Hey babe" I said pecking jacks lips. "Hey sexy" he said smirking. I decided to take off my cardigan and leggings to reveal my tight dress. "Do you expect me not to rip that dress off of you right this instant" Jack said looking over at me. "I don't know, maybe" I said teasing him. While on the car ride I felt a hand on my thigh. I tried to just focus out my window and not show any affection. Jacks hands kept going higher up my thigh. "Eh no not yet" I whispered in his ears. He just sat there with his hands on the wheel gripping it so hard his knuckled turned white. I knew he didn't like when I teased him. Well that's a point for me. We arrived at Nate's house, we get out and open the front door. The music was booming and people grinding on each other. "I'm going to get us a drink" Jack said trying to tell me over the music. I nod and walk over to the snack table. I stand there awkwardly because I don't dance. I see a figure walk up to me, it was Sammy. "Hey sammy" I said waving. "Hey Lex, having fun"? He asked. "Eh yea The party's ok" I said shrugging. "Wanna dance"? Sammy asked holding me his hands. I'm mean why not? Me and sammy are just friends. He drags me to the dance floor, then we start dancing to the beat. I wanted to get a drink since Jack probably lost me in the crowd. "I'm going to grab a drink" I said. "Alright" sammy said while dancing. I pass through the crowd of people and make my way to the kitchen. I grab a red solo cup and chug the liquid down. I was going to grab another drink when someone walked in the kitchen. I turn around and see my long lost best friend from freshman year, Cameron. "Oh my god Cameron, is that you"? I said hugging him. "In the flesh" he said gripping his leather jacket. I'll have to say he has gotten more attractive in the years.
"What are you doing here"? I asked smiling. "I'm friends with Nate, and my mom got a job here again" he said grinning. "I've missed you" I said. "I missed you too" he said. "So I heard your dating Gilinsky" he said poking me with his elbow. "Yea yea" I said blushing. "So who's the special girl"? I asked him. "Her names Grace and she's coming to visit me next week" he said smiling. "Can't wait to meet her" I said excited. After saying each others goodbyes, I went looking for Jack. It was weird cause he told me he was getting a drink for me. I started looking through a crowd and gave up when I couldn't find him. I decided to go upstairs into the bathroom to touch up my makeup and hair. As I walked through the hall in the house I saw a couple making out. I looked closer and started to tear up. It was Jack and Victoria. I wanted to leave so bad but it was like my feet were glued to the floor. I guess Jack noticed and looked at me. "Oh my god baby" he said trying to hold my hand but I pulled it away. "I can't fucking believe you" I said tearing up and storming downstairs. I about to reach the front door when I felt a tug on my dress. "Hey where are you going"? Sammy asked. I looked at him with tears in my eyes and my makeup all ruined. He looked at me with sympathy. He then let me go, then I ran out of the house. Since I left my car a block away from my house I just sat on the curb of Nate's house and texted cameron if he could bring me home. I texted him and he said he would be right out. While I was waiting for him a million thoughts raced my mind. Did he not love me anymore? Is Victoria better than me? But one thought crossed my mind. I realized that he wasn't even drunk and I started to cry harder. I heard the front door opened. " hey Lexi what's wrong" Cameron asked. I'll tell you later.
-skip car ride home- "I parked my car a block away" I said. He dropped me off at my car. I got in and drove home, when I was about to open the door I realized I left my spare clothes in jacks car. "Shit" I cussed. I then got the ladder on the side of my house than climbed into my window hoping my mom was asleep. Jack was calling me non stop so I just decided to turn off my phone. I got in my pajamas and wiped off my makeup then went to bed feeling like complete shit. My mom was right. Jack Gilinsky is just a player.
