Emily POV:
As soon as I walked into the jet I sat near the back on the couch and waited for everyone to arrive.
About ten minutes later Reid, Morgan, and JJ got on. "This almost looks exactly like our old jet." JJ said as she walked over to where I was and sat down across from me while the other two sat in chairs facing each other. 5 minutes later Hotch and Rossi walked on and sat in the other chairs that were on the other side of Reid and Morgan facing each other.
After the jet took off Hotch gathered us around his chair and we went over the case with Garcia popping in and out as she found stuff. Before we landed I spoke up "When we get there, we're going to the station first, then we are going to my house. I'll give you the address when we leave for the night."
Once we landed, we split into two SUVs and went straight to the station. As soon as we walked in I saw a guy who looked to be in his 40s and balding walking up to us. "Hello, I'm Detective Schkay, thanks for being here. We will do anything we can to catch this bastard so you can have whatever you need" he said. Then Hotch spoke up " Thanks Detective, I'm Unit chief Hotchner, and these are SSA's David Rossi, Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau, and Dr. Spencer Reid." he turned and pointed at me saying "And this is Dr. Prentiss, she's our section chief" I nodded my head while I noticed the surprised looks on the rest of their faces. "We just need a room we can use." I said, he nodded "Of course, we already have a room ready for you. Follow me"
Once we got set up Hotch called us over and gave out our assignments "Ok Reid stay here and work on the geographical profile, Morgan go to the M.E's, JJ, Prentiss go to the first 3 crime scene, Me and Rossi will go to the other four. Gather what you can and meet back here." After he said that everyone but Reid left.
When me and JJ got into the car, she started it up and AJR started blasting. She looked scared for a second before she turned it down and got in looking embarrassed I just smiled amusedly.
The car was silent it wasn't awkward but it wasn't that comfortable either. I didn't really know what to do so I just sat there staring out the window. Watching the trees go by and taking in the scenery.
"So... " JJ said trying to break the somewhat awkward silence
"So" responded not really knowing where this is going
But before it could get even more awkward we arrived at the first scene. There wasn't much considering how long ago the murder happened but we still looked around for anything useful. There wasn't a lot of things but I did notice that the blood was placed a certain way almost like as if it were a symbol.
I couldn't figure it out though so I just took photos. After we finished at this crime scene we went to the other two and I noticed the same symbol was there but with sticks at one and rocks at the other. I knew the symbol it was on the tip of my tongue so close yet so far. But that didn't matter. We finished up and drove back to the station and I got to choose the music. I hit shuffle and the first song that played was Girls, Girls, Girls by motley crue . So naturally I started singing along. After awhile she did too.

We both looked at each other, slightly out of breath and smiled when the next song came on it was I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith. She looked really surprised that I knew this. I could tell she really liked the band so I made a mental note to play it more.
We spent the whole ride back singing and dancing to the songs that came on. It was the most fun I have had in awhile.
When we got back to the station we met up with rest of the team and gave them all the info we had gathered. We kept working all night long. When it hit 11:30pm Hotch told us to go back to my house cause it was getting late. I then gave them my address. We got into the SUVs Me, JJ, and Morgan in one, Hotch, Rossi, and Reid in the other.
