2: Am I More Than You Bargon For Yet

JJ POV:
I was right as soon as we got back Hotch told us we had a case. We went to a Mexican place because some of us (me) was craving it. But before we went to the round table, everyone but Rossi and Hotch went to Penelope's 'lair' and looked her up. Let's just say there was some surprising stuff though there wasn't a lot of info like she owns 4 Fortune 500 companys and she has a little friend but we couldn't find anything about her family which was weird. Morgan scoffed I think we all thought the same thing that she was just a rich snob who used money to get in without any actual skill. When I went to the round table I looked around every one was there, well everyone but the raven haired woman. Hotch stood by the door my guess was that he was waiting for her. As soon as she walked in we all got up and stood in a line while Hotch introduced us. "Guys this is Dr. Emily Prentiss. Emily these are SSA's David Rossi, Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau, Dr. Spencer Reid, and our technical analyst Penelope Garcia."

She shook Rossi's then Morgan's hand as they said their name then shook mine while I said " Jennifer Jareau, but my friends call me JJ" she nodded her head and moved on but didn't shake Reid's hand probably cause he looked a little skeptical and nervous but be fore he could go on rambling about how it's safer to kiss Garcia engulfed Emily in a hug with a huge smile on her face and Prentiss just looked confused.

After they stopped hugging well more so Garcia, Hotch said in his usual stern tone "Let's get down to business" so I went to go and present the case.

Emily POV:
After me and Millie stopped talking I decided to get a little food. When lunch ended I was looking at a file going over some of the things that the BAU does when someone knocked on my door I said "Come in" without looking up to see who it is.

I heard the door open then Hotch saying that we have a case then left without me responding. I was overjoyed because even though it was something that I've been doing for years there were new people and I get to see how they work. When I got up from my office and looked out to the bull pen no one was there so I looked to the round table and saw them all sitting there. I got up and made my way over there trying not to look so eager. When I walked into the room Hotch stood next to me and introduced me " Guys this is Dr. Emily Prentiss, Emily these are SSA's David Rossi, Derek Morgan, Jennifer Jareau, Dr. Spencer Reid, and our technical analyst Penelope Garcia."

I shook an older man's hand while he introduced himself as David Rossi, then I shook a buff dude with I bald head as he introduced himself as Derek Morgan in a little bit of a harsh tone, then, stood before me was the goddess I saw earlier, I stared at her for a second before I quickly put my hand out to shake hoping that nobody caught that. She introduced herself saying "Jennifer Jareau, but my friends call me JJ."

I was glad to have a name to go with the face so I nodded and moved over to a skinny dude who looked like a pipe cleaner with eyes but I didn't shake his hand because it seemed liked he didn't want to touch anybody especially not some one he just met so I nodded my head while he gave me a small wave and said "Dr. Spencer Reid" and it looked like he was about to say something else but before he could a very colorful and perky blonde hugged me I assumed that it was Penelope since it was the only name not said. She hugged me for a moment while I just stood there looking like a complete idiot, a confused one. It looked like the rest of the team was amused.

After she let me go Hotch said "Let's get down to business" and the first thing that I thought of was that song as I sat down I started sing it in my head 'Let's get down to business to defeat the huns' and before I could do dance moves in my head JJ presented the case.

"Buckle up guys cause this is a weird one. We are going to Rochester NY where there have been a series of murders. Three men and four women have been killed; Amanda Davis, Charles Figgans, Angela Kinsley, Dwight Schrute, Linda Belcher, David Rose, and Donna Meagle with two lines and a semicolon carved into the middle on their stomach. The cause of death is asphyxiation with ropes that are two inches thick. They were all posed sitting up right with there head over the back of a bench." JJ said as the pictures popped up.

"Each victim had a note in their hand." She said as she passed pieces of paper out to everyone

" These are the actual letters that were left next to them- that isn't the transcript" she said as I reached out to grab the piece of paper along with another blank one to write the translation in english.

"No it's not it's in French and Polish, uh... 'I have committed a sin there for I can no longer have the great gift that is life and all it's wonders'"

When I finished reading I looked up and saw everyone staring at me with wide eyes "ha I might have failed to mention that I was a polyglot"

I say nervously. They all just nodded their head and turned back to JJ while I worked on translating it and copying it to t on a blank piece of paper. And that's when I noticed it. "Your unsub's a woman or has a partner that is a woman, might both be a women but either way there is a woman." I said "also the woman that wrote this doesn't know Polish"

"H-wha-wh-how do you know?" Hotch said in a stern-ish tone

"About which part?"

"Both!" Hotch and Rossi said together

"I know they don't know Polish because they don't use the right words for it, it's like they used a translation app. And I know it's a woman because I translated and copied it the best I could onto a blank piece of paper and the words that she uses are not ones that men would typically use and the pressure that is being put on.. I'm guessing pen is that of a woman's touch it doesn't matter what emotions are showing you can still tell the difference between the genders. Like, for example, this has some anger but it's more neutral but the way that it curvs and the amount of pressure on it just reassures you that it is in fact a woman." I say as I study it and continued to write down every little detail.

"O-okay" Rossi said

"You know what she's right this could definitely be a woman." Reid said

"Wheels up in 30." Hotch said. Everyone got up and right before they left he spoke up "Oh uh we lost most of our funding, our jet, and we now have to stay in motels doubled up. But thanks to Emily we are using her jet, maybe her house and she will pay for the hotels if we need them."

"Wait so is she just on the team because she has money?" Morgan asks

"No" Hotch said

"Why are you here? Are you even qualified to be here? I bet you just use daddy's money to get everything" Derek said to me

"I'm here because I can be. I'm more than qualified to be here and I don't use anyone elses money I only use my own." I said a little angry

"Oh yeah? Prove it"

"How?"

"How do we know you are qualified to be here?"

"I've been doing this since I was 16, I know what I am doing."

"You can't even go in the field at 16 plus you probably went to some shitty community college."

"Fine if you really must know everything I'll tell you. I went to college at Georgetown, Cornell, Harvard, and Yale. I have doctorates in almost everything. I have masters in all things criminal and psychology. I've worked at the CIA for 7 years profiling killers. I've worked at interpol for five years. I worked at the IRA for three years but I can't tell you what I did because you don't have the clearance. I caught the most prolific serial killer who was the biggest drug lord and weapons dealer in the world. I've worked at the FBI for the last ten. All while running four fortune 500 company's. And I know more languages fluently then you can even think of. So I think it's safe to say I'm qualified." I said almost yelling at him.

They all just stared at me surprised so I just walked out looked at my watch and said "Wheels up in 5" while grabbing my go bag and walking through the glass doors.
