Christina POV

I get up in the morning to my alarm clock blaring in my ears. I sit up and look at my phone. 2 missed calls and and 1 missed text message. The calls are from my mom and Will, and the text is from Will.

I read the message from Will saying that he can't pick me up from my apartment. 'Seriously!' I think. 'I look out my window and on the day that it's pouring rain too.' I listen to the voice message from my mom.

She asked me how everything is going and that she misses me and that I really need to call her soon. Well then.

I then listen to the voice message from Will. He's just reminding me that he can't pick me up today. Grrrr now what am I going to do. I don't know if Tris is coming today. Shauna and Zeke are already there. Lynn and Peter are a scary couple to be around. Four and Lauren make out too much. So I'll just ask Marlene and Uriah if I can go with them. I go onto my text message app and ask Mar if I could go with her and Uriah.

I get up and start getting ready. When I'm finished getting dressed I put on my makeup and put my short hair in a small ponytail. I grab clothes for later and grab my phone. The message from Marlene says

'Sorry I got here with Shauna and Zeke so I'm here but I called Uri and told him to come pick you up....he should be there in 10 minutes.'

I look at when the message was sent. It says 8 minutes ago. I go down stairs and wait for him to get there.

I see a black Honda roll into view and I know that it's Uriah so I walk to the curb. Or should I say run to the curb. I quickly open the door and get inside.

"Hey," is say.

"Hi," Uriah says.

"Let's go I guess," I say kind of awkwardly.

He drives until we get to the studio. We park and get out. Before I can fully get out of the car my phone rings again. I pick it up and see that it's my mom trying to call. I pick it up.

"Hello," I say

"Tina, oh my sweet baby girl," she says.

"Mom?" I ask worriedly, "Are you okay?"

"I'm so sorry hunny, I'm soooo sorry," she says. I can hear her crying now.

"Mommy your scaring me. What. Happened?"

"Hunny, baby, grandma, grandma is dead."

"Mom this isn't funny, tell me th-" I start

"Tina this isn't a joke." She says

No, no , this has to be a joke. I won't be able to live with myself. I didn't even get to say good bye. I start crying, no, sobbing.

"Hunny the funeral is in a few weeks, I'll give you the date when I can. Bye love you," my mom says. She hangs up.

I put my phone down and continue sobbing. I feel a hand on my back and see Uriah rubbing softly.

"I'm sorry Chris, I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I promise it will get better. Not any time soon but it will." He states

"Thanks Uri, I'm just not usually this emotional."

"It's okay, you don't have to hold back, it's just me here. Well and the people walking by," I look out the car window and see people passing by with worried looks on their faces. I laugh a little.

Once I'm done crying, and I've pulled myself together a bit, I get out of the car with Uriah in front of me. I grab Uriahs arm and pull him out in the rain.

"Chris what are you doing, I don't want to get all sick and wet-" I cut him off

"Look Uri, thank you for being so nice to me. And for being such a great friend." I look into his eyes.

"Well that's what friends are for." He replies.

I lean in and before I know it we are kissing in the rain. We keep going for a couple minutes until he says

"Maybe we should go inside now, before everyone gets worried or worse, we get sick,"

I giggle alittle bit and we sprint inside.

*************

To me that felt like a really long chapter....sorry if it's not though.....I tried my best.....
