Kaname x Zero "You need me.."

Chapter 2

Every noise got louder and every scent got stronger as night came upon the school. All my senses heightened as it was time to "feed". I hate calling it that. The shuffling of the feet of the day class students passing my room and heading back to theirs was annoying me and their scents were slowly filling my nostrils and flowing through my body.  I clenched my fists and bit my lip, letting out a laugh at the irony of my own blood dripping into my mouth. My amusement ceasing as I heard small, lonely footsteps approaching my door. I immediately knew who it was because her scent is stronger than everyone else's since I've tasted her before.

"Yuki.." I whispered again. Or rather mouthed since no sound came out.

"Zero, are you ready to talk now?" She said.

"Why aren't you going to classes?" "Why are you ignoring me?" I could hear her crying. "Zero! I know you're in there it's been days!" She started talking just a little too loud.

"I'm coming in!" She yelled. I tried to scream "No!" But it just came out as a loud whisper. She burst open my door and stared at me now on my hands and knees because I tried to move to stop her from coming in. As soon as the barrier was gone from between us her scent became unbearable for me. I couldn't hold myself back from the sweet scent that was Yuki Cross. As soon as she walked in, before she could even close the door my mental barrier had broken. My senses took over and I looked at her. Hungry and raging.

"Zero..?" She said quietly staring at me.

I leaped and in less than a second she was on the ground beneath me. I pinned her arms to her side. Her eyes were closed and her head was turned revealing her neck to me.

"Yuki.." I said once more and leaned down and licked her neck. She looked terrified, but I wasn't stopping. The tears in her eyes. The whimpers coming from her. Nothing was stopping me until a scent so radiant wafted into my room, overpowering Yuki's. I forgot completely all about her as I lifted my head, fangs barred to see the tall, beautiful, pureblood I so desperately needed, Kaname Kuran.

He walked over and extended his hand to Yuki who gratefully took it and hurried behind him. He walked forward closing the door so it was just us in the room. I looked at him anger and hunger both filling my gaze. He looked at the floor and back up at me.

"Do you need me, Zero?"
