Akaashi's POV

-----

I have a pretty normal life.

Or so I had.

I mean nothing interesting ever happens really. I wake up, make food, go to school, do homework, go to work, and repeat. I rarely ever change my routine. maybe I the weekends I'll sleep in, but overall its normal.

Right now I'm walking to work with my roommate and co-worker Sugawara. We work at a small café named Daisan's Café & Pastries. (no, i didn't use an actual name)

As we walk into the café, we recognize that nobodies in here.

"Kou-san, are you sure we aren't early?" I asked my co-worker.

"Yeah, were late, actually. but it isn't usually busy, so." he replied.

I silently nod my head as I walk back to the kitchen. After what seemed like forever, the small bell that was hung on the doorknob rang.

I was in the kitchen so I didn't see who it was, but judging by Kou-san's voice, I'm guessing he greeted them. I decided to walk out and see who they were.

Two teenagers.

I was confused, since this place was more popular with the elders. I shrugged it off and went to the kitchen to wait for the order.

Kou-san walks into the kitchen and hands me a piece of paper. It read "1 piece of milk bread and a slice of apple pie". I started to prepare the pastries.

Sugawara's POV

-----

I get up from my desk and practically run to my locker.

The bell had just rang, indicating that the period was over. For some reason I like working at my job (probably because nobody ever comes in the café and we get free food).

The place I work at is called Daisan's Café & Pastries. After I get the stuff in my locker out, I run to the main entrance.

I work with my roommate, Akaashi (Who I call Keiji), so usually we'd walk together. Since he has another class today, I can wait for him at a nearby bench.

After a few minutes. Or maybe even hours.. I finally see the raven-haired male walk out the school.

"What took you so long?! Your class doesn't take THAT long does it?" I lectured him.

"It does, Kou-san. Now let's go. I don't feel like being late today" he shot back.

'We're probably already late' I mumbled under my breath.

We continue walking in a comfortable silence until we arrive.

"Kou-san, are you sure we aren't early?" Keiji asked me.

"Yeah, were late, actually. but it isn't usually busy, so." I answered.

I flip over the 'Open || Closed' sign and went to my spot. Since I work as a cashier, I work at the desk in front of the kitchen. Keiji works as a cook, so he automatically goes behind the desk.

After a while, the bell rang.

My gaze fell upon 2 teenagers, My eyes particularly on the tall one. Hot. 'NO, NO, NO. I CAN'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS THAT'S NOT LIKE ME, RIGHT! IT ISN'T-' I start mentally screaming at myself in my head.

As they get to the desk, I change my entire thought process to greeting them.

"Welcome to Daisan's Café & Pastries! I'm Sugawara and I'll be happy to get your order when ever you're ready!"

The tall one smiled at me and looked at the shorter one, which I assumed they were talking about what to order.. Like I said, there were 2 teenagers. They both looked male, but I didn't want to start assuming.

The taller one had short, what seemed like curled, brown hair. They were wearing black ripped jeans. They also were wearing a brown jacket, with a navy blue/white striped shirt.

The shorter one on the other hand had dyed blonde hair, which reached their shoulders. They also had something that looked almost like a game-boy in they're hand.

I was quickly brought back to reality when the brunette started to say their order. "We'll have 1 piece of milk bread and a slice of apple pie, please." I nodded as I wrote down the order.

"Sure thing! That'll be right up." I said in response.
