Elizabeth sighs as she drops her bag onto her bedroom floor before flopping onto her bed face-first. Her feet are sore and tired from bothing dancing and playing volleyball.

"Elizabeth!" Her older sister calls for her. "I'm sure you're hungry! I made some food for you!"

"I'll be down in a second!" Elizabeth responds as she lifts her head from her pillow. She groans as she shoves her face back into her pillow, wishing she could just fall asleep on the spot.

She flips her body around, sitting against the headboard of her bed. Elizabeth kicks herself off the bed as she removes her shoes, hoping it won't cause her more pain as she walks.

When the silver haired girl leaves her room, goes down the stairs and into the kitchen, she sees Margaret in the kitchen setting a plate with food on it. Elizabeth smiles as she sits at the kitchen counter.

"How was school?" Margaret asks her.

"It was alright," she answers. "I found out my best friend has an older brother, so that was fun."

Margaret turns around, plate in hand, ready to give to Elizabeth. "Older brother? How much older is he than Zeldris?"

"I don't know," Elizabeth answers truthfully. "Probably a few months to a year older. He's in some of my classes and he's in the same grade as me, so he can't be that much older."

Margaret sets the plate-full of food in front of Elizabeth. "Huh. Why didn't he ever tell you?"

"I asked him the same thing," the silver haired girl tells her oldest sister. "He won't say much though."

Her sister hands her a fork. "Maybe he's just trying to protect you from something."

"Protect me from what?" Elizabeth prods, her mouth full of food. "Meliodas seems really kind and totally not the way Zeldris makes him out to be."

"Don't talk with food in your mouth," Margaret scolds. "You're spending too much time with Veronica," she says under her breath. "Anyway, maybe his brother is just putting up an act or something. But I doubt it; everyone's usually super nice with you around."

The silverette raises a brow as she swallows the food she was chewing. "That's not true."

"Mm, I dunno, you just give off this vibe," Margaret insists. "Okay well, I'm off to spend some time with Gil. Put your plate in the sink when you're done, okay Ellie?"

Elizabeth nods as her older sister comes up to her and kisses her forehead before she leaves.

Now, she's all alone, considering the fact her other sister hasn't returned and her father is still at work. She sighs, shoving the food into her mouth so she can get it over with.

When she's done, she does as her sister told and places her plate in the sink along with her fork.

Her phone then vibrates in her pocket. She takes it out and smiles as she realizes who had texted her.
