Chapter 7

-Jay's Pov
As I look at my best dancers to dance at the competition I smile at how good they look. Yes Angel is in it she's the only one with an Afro smh she just won't let me do her hair but it's ok because it's not nappy all I do I comb it in the morning and at night. Well it's 4:45 and well Les Twins workshop at five and I know Angel really wants to go and I can't leave her with strangers so I'll go besides it seems like fun anyways
"Ok Girls great practice I'll see yall tomorrow for one last practice then off to the competition ok"I say
"Ok see at later Ma"they return
Yes they called me Ma because I've known all of them since they were like 5 not counting Angel of course so I'm basically like their second mom some of them their first to be honest. As they all get packed up and hug me then finally walk out I keep Angel and I's stuff in this room and just lock the door and bring our Gatorade and some extra money just in case.
"Ready"Angel asks extra excited
"I guess"I say honestly insure if I am but hey it's just a workshop right? As we walk in the room I already see the boys setting up the speaker and talking about how they're gonna split up the groups.
"Larry,Laurent!!"Angel screams and runs to Larry
"Hey booboo hey Jay"Larry says picking Angel up and hugging her then hugging me
"Hey babyy hey Jayyy"Laurent said excited to see us both and embracing us in a hug
"Laurent"Me and Angel says
"Hm?"he replies still not letting us go
"Can't-Breathe"we say barley above a whisper. And he lets go immediately
"Sorry babies"he said
We laugh and say it's cool while we just wait until it's time to let people in. As a few more people fill in I realize it's not as crowded as I thought
"Ok everyone on the left side is on my team. And everyone on the right side is on Laurent's team."Larry said looking at everyone.As I look to my right I see Angel on that side and Lau looks at me and walks over
"Don't worry I take good care of her she be in front row Mmk?"he says
"Uhh sure just be careful with my baby mmk?"I say mocking him. He laughs and nods
"I'm serious Lau go easy on her"I say chuckling at how's he's not taking me serious
"I gotchu booboo"he says flipping his Afro and walking away holding Angel's hand guiding her to the front while I laugh at how silly he can be!
"Hey Jay pay attention"Larry says in a bossy voice.Well who pissed in his Gatorade?!? I shake it off and follow Larry's instructions easily since I'm in the third row and I'm a fast learner.
"Ow"I say next to the girl who stepped on my foot for the second time
"Sorry"She says with an attitude
I shake it off trying not to go off on the bitch with 2 left feet who keeps on eyeing my man-I mean Larry.then once again I feel another pain in my foot then in my rib.
"Can you please stop hurting me cuz I'm starting to feel like your doing on purpose knowing that you can't dance anyways with your 2 left feet?!?"I semi-yell
"hey Jay stop talking would ya??"Larry says not helping my situation of smacking this bitch
"Nahh I got a problem so I'm not gonna stop talking until it's resolved"I retort
"Excuse me bitch but I do not have 2 left feet and I can dance"she says
Gosh her voice is annoying
"Well you must do if you keep on stepping on my foot and elbowing me in my ribs"I say waving my hands around drawing attention to us but I honestly don't care.Then I feel an arm around my waist and I start to feel myself walk backwards.
"Baby baby chill ok you come sit with me and A mmk"Laurent says sitting me down
"nahh I'm going to my room can you do me a huge favor and watch her while i go chill out.I know this means a lot to her so Im just going to let her stay"i say
"ok i will where are you going"he asks
"my room and thank you"i said while hugging him then walking over to Angel
"hey baby"i say sitting down next to her
"hey mommy"she says happy
"do me a favor and listen to Larry and Laurent and stay close to the both of them ok I'm going to our room to go chill and dance ok"i ask
"mmk mommy come back soon"she says kissing my cheek.I smile and kiss her cheek and walk out bumping shoulder with that girl and Larry staring at me.
-In the dance room
I take a really big deep breath working on the techniques that I taught myself to cool down knowing that I have anger issues.I plug up my iPod and dance that anger off. I know it sounds like something that seems stupid to be mad over but you try getting your foot stepped on for about 30mins and getting elbowed in the ribs for 10mins it starts to get annoying.
"Jay"I hear familiar voice call out but I ignore it already knowing it was Larry and I put on a random song that I saw and turn the volume up watching myself in the mirror.
"Jay"Larry calls out a little louder. Yet still being my stubborn self I ignore him once more then I hear my music pause and look over at an annoyed Larry. Awww he looks so cute when he's annoyed.Wait what am I saying I just met the man I can't like him no nd he probably already has a girlfriend so let my little ass chill but then again I do like the way how he wipes his face with his shirt showing his sexy body while he sweats and how the light glistens off his body showing off his sweet caramel skin.Gosh I got to chill
"Jay can you please answer me"he says walking up to me
"What" I say coming off a little more harsh than I meant to
"What's wrong booboo"he questions with full concern in his voice.I look down smiling at how caring he is.
"Nothing"I say not making eye contact knowing that his big brown eyes are staring down at me knowing that I'm lying.He pulls my chin up making me look at him.
"Now I'm gonna ask you again.what is wrong"he says calmly
"U-uhhhhh nothing"I say trying to keep myself maintained.He smiled at how tongue tied I was getting.
"Ok"I started off and spilled the whole thing to him and he nodded understanding where I'm coming from and then he hugged me.Well that was unexpected but I hugged back he smells pretty nice especially considering that he was sweating for at least and hour.
"So don't you gotta get back to class or something"I ask finally pulling away from the hug.
"Nahh we got like 20 mins left of break"he says checking the time on his phone
"Oh"was all I could say.I walked over to my iPod and started the song over and he backed up while I danced and he smiled while watching my every move.
