A Summer Worth Remembering (Les Twins)

Chapter 12

Jai's Pov
I can't believe Larry asked me and Angel to go to the carnival.Maybe he just wanted to go out as friends yeah that's it. So we arrive at the carnival and Angel and I can already taste the funnel cakes and popcorn. That's what we always get here and Nique threatens us that we're gonna get fat but buys some anyways!
"I can already taste the funnel cake!"Angel says sniffing that carnival air. I laugh at her and nod my head
"How does it taste"Larry asked while me and Angel just stared at him with wide eyes
"You never taste funnel cake?"I question"it's like the best cake ever when we get in we can get some you're gonna love it I hope you have a sweet tooth though!"I say
"I love sweets so I think I'll be fine"Larry says
"How many people"An old lady asked
"Umm 3 it's 2 adults and 1 child can we get the wristbands"Larry asks. He wants the wrist bands those cost a lot of money just for one person(it's over priced)
The lady nods"40 dollars please" the lady says with her hand out while Larry grabs his wallet
"Umm Larry do you want to split the price and I pay for Angel and I"I question because I really don't want him to pay all it makes me feel bad that's he's paying all 40 and I'm just sitting here
"No I pay for everything Mmk?"he says and I just nod holding my wrist out
"Umm thanks for paying"I say. Everyone is in and apparently everybody got wrist bands haha
"To the funnel cake"Angel screams
"Not yet unless you want to barf on the rides"Larry says holding her hand and then grabbing mines.
"To the ponies!"she screams again
"Ok I can deal with that"Larry says and we walk to wear the horses are while Angel points to rides she wants to go on next and Larry just says that we will
"Ooooo look guys face painting can I get one please Larry"I say pulling his arm he laughs at my reaction and nods while I pull them over to get my face painted
"I want the flower on my cheek please"I say pointing to the picture
"What colors"the girl asks
"Umm blue and purple"I say because it matches my outfit she dips the paint brush in the paint and I starts giggling because it tickles and she laughs at my silliness and tells me to stop laughing so I won't mess up the paint. When she's done I look in the mirror and thank her it looks pretty
"I want one like mommy"Angel says and sits down in front of the lady
"Hey beautiful what would you like"the same lady questions
"The Same one as mommy please" Angel replies. I squat down next to Angel and turn my cheek so the lady can see and she begins painting on Angel's face telling her to stop laughing while Larry just watches us and smiles shaking his head when Angel is done we thank the lady and I gave her a tip because she did a good job and I think she just deserved one
"So how do we look"Angel asked while we turn our cheeks
"Beautiful" Larry says and holds our hand once again and I see the horses up ahead and I pull them along because I really want to see them too l mean they're just so cute! Haha
"Slow down baby or I'm
Gonna mess up my shoes"Larry says making me stop and look at his shoes
"Why did you wear those to the carnival anyways"I say trying not to laugh
"Because they go with my outfit" he says in a duhh tone
While I shake my head and laugh that's why I wore my converse a pair of shoes I don't mind getting dirty because I can clean them easily anyways same for Angel we basically matched today. We finally came to the horses and I ran up to one and started to pet it's mane while he bobbed his head and I giggled
"I want a horse I wonder what it's name is"I say
"He doesn't have a name"a boy around my age with a small southern accent says walking up to us. He's actually kind of cute but I can't think that because I'm with Larry not like dating him (I wish) but still
"Can I name him"Angel asks
"Sure"he says
Angel tugs on Larry's shirt and he bends down and they start whispering I'm assuming their talking about the name
"So is it a female horse or a male"I say trying to just start up a regular convo
"Male he's a chestnut horse"he says rubbing the horse's the body
"Oh cool how old is he"I say rubbing his mane again
"I'm not sure yet but he's probably in his 20's I guess, he doesn't look to old honestly"he says looking at the horse
"So can we ride him or he's just to pet"I ask I love riding horses
"Both actually would you like to ride him?"he asks about to grab his saddle while I nod my head climbing over the gate. I grew up around horses and I take care of horses for a week every summer soo I'm a country girl on the down low
"His name is Jock"Angel and Larry says while me and the guy saddle up the horse together
"Ok it's decided" he says
"So what's your name because I never caught it"I ask
"Oh sorry miss Im Daniel but everybody calls me Dan or Danny and yall Are"
"I'm Jalyn or Jay for short, this is my daughter Angel and my friend Larry"I say introducing everybody while I climb on the tall horse with help from Larry and Danny haha and grab his reins.
"Haha Larry I'm taller than you"I tease
"Not for long"he says
"Go mommy!"Angel says while Larry puts her on his back so she can see
I blow kisses and kick his body not too hard and let him walk for now and a few minutes later I see Angel next to me on a smaller horse
"Can I make Jock run Danny"I ask while he nods. I grin and kick him again making him trot then I kick him again making him run while I smile at Larry who looks like he never knew I would do that. A few minutes later Angel and Larry is ready to go while I'm still riding Jock and I sigh and get help to get down.
"Now you no shorter than me"Larry teases while I pout considering I had to get off of Jock and I was back to being short again.
"Bye Danny Bye Jock"Angel and I say waving at them while Larry just mean mugs Danny
"Bye girls"he says waving back
We went on a whole lot of rides and Angel saw a game to play. So we played the game and Larry won her a big pink bear like seriously it's huge almost bigger than her! Then I saw the water game (it's the one that you have to fill the water balloons with the water gun I don't know how to explain it but I hope you know what I mean)and it was me, Larry and Angel playing.
"Guys I just want you to know that I'm gonna crush you"Larry says
"That's what you think Larry"I challenged
"I'm gonna win people"Angel says with her game face on.I came in 1st, then Angel came in 2nd and Larry in last and I won myself a cape, Angel won a smaller stuffed animal and Larry didn't want anything but a rematch against me so I let Angel cheer me on and once again I won but gave Larry a cape because that's what he wanted.
"Wow Larry I beat you twice come on man I thought you were gonna win"I laughed
"What cape do you want"the man said
"Superman"Larry said and then grabbed his cape putting it on standing like superman and I joined next to him laughing.But then Angel wanted a cape so it was her against Larry and Larry lost again and I was cracking up while Angel picked out a cape to match me. They were all super hero capes I was WonderWoman, Angel was bat girl and Larry was Superman and he wanted that one for a specific reason that I didn't understand but hey do you Larry!
"Super hero poses!!"Angel screamed and we all burst in a super hero pose and as if on cue the wind started and made a capes fly and people looked at us strangely and we laughed and started walking to another game and Larry won me a big purple near. So at end of the day we all went on the ferris wheel and basically we got to know each other through out the whole day and we finally got our funnel cake that Angel has been talking about all day and Larry enjoyed it. We took selfies laughed at each other and just had a good time in general. We met up with Laurent Nique and Marcus and Larry and Laurent walked us homes and I guess nobody wanted them to leave especially Marcus and Angel so they stayed for a while and when they left I kissed Larry on the cheek and Nique kissed Lau on the cheek and we closed the door and ran up to my room ready to gossip bout the day squealing like little pigs and bouncing like a kid on Christmas Day!
