Ashur sat, alone, in the darkest corner of the room, his sleeves rolled up, the lyrics of "Monster" by Skillet and "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace burned into his arms. He hugged his knees, glaring at the people in the room. "Hey, Mondai Chairudo, what's on your arms?" Called a laughing boy from the other side of the room. Ashur scowled and held up his middle finger. The boys' group of friends howled with laughter and went back to chattering noisily. With a sigh, Ashur stood and left, shouldering past one of the boys on his way out. "Oooooh, what, is Ashur actually going to try something, or sit in another room and brood?" Cackled the leader of the group of boys.

"Leave me alone, Eli." Ashur said hoarsely, since he rarely ever spoke. "Wow, do you hear that, boys? Ashur actually spoke!" Eli yelled, smirking. Ashur ran a hand through his hair, realising that he was going to have end up fighting. "Eli, shut the fuck up and leave me alone." He said, leaning on the door frame. "No." Eli sneered, advancing on Ashur. "Fight me, Ashur." Eli challenged. Ashur could tell he wanted to say Ashur's last name, but knew that Eli didn't know his last name. Now it was Ashur's turn to say no. "Why?" Ashur growled, narrowing his dark hazel eyes. "Because, you know very well what an achievement that would be, eh? Ha! Me beat Ashur." Eli snarled the last sentence, side-glancing at Ashur. "You want a show? Fine." Ashur rolled his eyes and punched Eli hard in the face, sending Eli flying backwards. The whole room got quiet, watching Ashur and Eli with interest. "I gave you a show, Eli Henson. Now leave me alone." Ashur sneered.

When Eli stood, he had a huge bruise forming, his nose gushing blood. Eli wiped some blood off his face, glaring at Ashur. Suddenly Eli flung himself at Ashur, but Ashur side-stepped, expecting Eli's move. Eli looked up, his eyes wild. "I said fight me!" Eli stood and tackled Ashur, punching Ashur's stomach. Coughing, Ashur threw Eli off, quickly standing. "I told you to leave me alone, Eli. So leave me alone!" Ashur snarled, looking around. He scowled and left the room, hating Eli.

Ashur heard footsteps sounding behind him, and he looked over his shoulder, fury showing in his dark hazel eyes. "Ashur, wait! Eli just wanted a show! He just wanted to get under your skin." The girl with long black hair had caught up with Ashur, falling into step beside him. "I'm not in the mood, Autumn." The girl named Autumn looked crestfallen. "I know that....but you should just ignore him. He thinks something different. He sees you as a threat for some reason, so he likes to fight with you." Autumn said, looking at Ashur, worry filling her deep green eyes. Ashur stopped, turning to face her. "Look, why do you even care?! I hardly know you!" Ashur said a little too harshly. Autumn looked hurt. Shit..

"I-I just..." She stuttered. "Just what?!" Ashur said loudly, though his voice was rough and hoarse, as it wasn't used to being used. "I only wanted to help you! Why do you push people away so much?! People try to help you and all you do is push them away!" Autumn yelled, tears starting to slide down her cheeks. Ashur was bewildered: He barely knew Autumn! Ashur must have been silent for a while, because Autumn then ran away from him, sobbing. Ashur watched her run, not knowing what to do.

That's the effect of Ashur...people running away, crying.
