When Ashur got time to go to the bathroom, he looked into the mirror, studying the damage left from the little fight. Not too bad, considering I fought with Eli Henson.... Ashur thought, snorting. There was a small bruise over his left eye, and his lip was bleeding. Ashur lazily ruffled his black-and-red hair, his black-lined dark hazel eyes blazing with the events of the day. Ashur left, slumping into his English class, sliding into the desk at the very back of the class. Ashur crossed his arms and kicked his feet up on the desk, leaning back in his chair.
Most of the people ignored Ashur, but that day, all eyes were on him. No other but Autumn sat beside Ashur, though she was tense, with tear streaks lining her cheeks. Ashur was amazed at how, despite the fact that she was crying, her deep green eyes sparkled like emeralds. Autumn caught Ashur looking at her and quickly wiped her eyes, glaring at him.
"What are you doing?! I thought you hated me." Autumn whispered sternly. Ashur shook his head. "I never said I hated you. I just want to be left alone sometimes." Autumn snorted. Ashur rolled his eyes.
"Ashur! Autumn! What is SO important that you can't wait till the end of class to discuss?!" The teacher shrieked. Ashur glared at her, his lip curling. "Oh, uh- " Autumn started when Ashur cut her off, "I'm sorry, but we had a small affair to take care of. Don't you have some retarded curriculum you have to "Teach" us?" Ashur said, sneering. The teacher stared at him, eyes wide with shock. "If you're just going to stand there, why don't you just shove that book up your ass as well?" Ashur went on, enjoying the result. The teacher's face went bright red before she screeched, "PRINCIPALS OFFICE! NOW!" Ashur didn't move. The teacher stalked toward his desk, giving him the death glare. "No thank you."
Ashur looked at her calmly, side-glancing at Autumn, noticing her laughing. The teacher's solid brown eyes filled with rage. "DON'T YOU SAY NO TO ME! GET IN THAT OFFICE! NOW!" Ashur still didn't move. He knew that the teacher couldn't touch him. He knew that the school couldn't touch him. He had no parents. He had no family. He lived just off of school campus. No one could touch him, except for the police, and why would they get called? For a teenager telling his teacher to shove a book up her ass? The mere thought made Ashur snort with laughter. "JUST WHAT IS SO FUNNY?!" Screeched the teacher. "Oh, you know, everything." The teacher's eyes widen still further, and she reminded Ashur of a rabid dog. The entire class was laughing their heads off, and Autumn was really red in the face from laughing. "STOP LAUGHING!!!" She yelled. Swelling with rage, the teacher just couldn't take anymore. She threw open the door and stalked out of the classroom, yelling about "Nonsense students" and "Why do I even bother teaching".
After a few minutes, the intercom sounded over head and said, "Ashur, report to the principals office, immediately" Ah, shit, might as well...
