Tyson was not sure why he had taken such an early class, he knew thatName tended to take classes that were in the afternoon so he knew hewould have to come up with an excuse, he didn't even have her homephone number or technically her address. He did know it, but she hadnever given it. The first night after he had met her, her herself asopposed to just her scent, he had felt like he was having a heartattack, his wolf was fighting him and he felt like his body wastrying to tear himself apart. And what was happening in his bodycouldn't hold a candle to what was going on inside his mind.

All of the things that could be happening to her; she was walkinghome, she could fall and have no one to help her and no way to callout for help. She could be hit by a car, and humans were sohorrid-sure some were fine, even good, everything he knew about Namewas despite her being a human was practically a saint, however morewere monsters then were just decent at least. She could be mugged, and from what he could see she didn't have much money so could bekilled for that. She could be under a tree falling, she could passout from a heat stroke. So many things could happen, and even ifplenty of them are almost neurotic thinking it didn't change how truehe felt they were. Even when he managed to calm down by deeplyinhaling the swimsuit cover that she had made, her scent ingrained init being the only thing that made it still there but it was fading, taking on his own scent as it was in his room. Once it was done theywould wash it and return it.

There wasn't enough to even be a mixture of their scents. He hopedthat if his room or anything could smell like a mixture of theirscents he would be calmer. But the cotton of the swimsuit cover upwouldn't allow their scents to mix, her scent was so thoroughlyingrained and his was just scratching the surface, by the time hisingrained into the cotton fibers, hers would have left. And there wasno Name to replace what was lost. But this kept her scent near him,and that was enough.

Tyson had grown up always being one with his Wolf. Yes as werewolvesthey had two souls inside of them, the soul of the human and the soulof the wolf. As long as you maintained perfect balance, as he hadbeen taught since birth to do, you were fine. It was when they werenot in balance that there was danger, if the human half gained toomuch power they'd almost wither away, they were werewolves, nothumans and acting like humans was a dangerous thing, while if thewolf took too much control they would become feral. After they becameferal they would become a Rouge.

Having heard stories of both withering away and becoming a Rouge hewould rather wither away. He didn't want to try to-or goddessforbid-succeed in killing his pack mates.

Tyson never had a problem before, he and his wolf were in perfectalignment. It came from a mixture of how his pack view themselves andmeditation. The pack viewed themselves as one instead of how otherpacks viewed themselves, they viewed themselves as a human and a wolfsharing one body instead of as being werewolves. So yes, he could be'in two minds' about things, not 'disagreeing with his wolf' asothers would say, but it was always simple petty things. Nowthough...now it was different.

He had never thought much about his mate, he knew one day he wouldmeet them, whoever the goddess they worshiped chose for him. His 'twominds' was not much caring about who his mate would be and beingexcited and always wondering who his mate would be, wondering what heor she would be like, what they would look like. But now it was here,Name was here, he had never in a million years had thought that hismate would be a human, it was rare. While Tyson himself didn't likeit, humans were violent and dangerous. Sure she seemed to be aliteral angel, she seemed to do nothing but farm, make her trades andspend time in the community center, either teaching or being astudent herself. That just made him more suspicious. There had to beat least some skeletons in her closet. And truthfully...hejust didn't want to be with a human.
