Jamine's POV

"Long time no see, Jaja." Sabi nya, smiling from ear to ear. That cute dimple on his right cheek appeared, parang tinuhog ng kawayan. 

"Y-yeah, matagal tagal na rin, jepjep." I replied returning his smile.

As if on cue, napabungisngis na lang kami pareho til we end up laughing.

"I know, I know. Napaka-pambata ng nicknames, ang chaka." I said ng makarecover pero di pa rin mapigilang mapangiti. Such a release to laugh. 

His face changed a lot, so smoothly white. He'd grown a beard which in my opinion ay bagay sa kanya, he look matured. Laki na ng pinagbago nitong uhugin na to ah.

"Are you ashamed of it? I've waited so long para matawag kita ulit ng ganoon."

"No, of course not but cut the bullshit jepjep. Ang baduy! and it won't ever work on me." I said half smiling. He cought as if choked when he heard me cuss.  Oops!

"Can we have some- you know, a bit silent place to talk. I just, want to catch up with my childhood bestfriend." He awkwardly said, his hooded eyes looking directly at me. 

I've sensed an 'as-a-friend-' vibe in his tone making me feel comfortable and more relaxed. I hate playboys, and I guess he isn't one.

"Yeah- A wait saglit lang. I'll call someone to pick up this stupid guy lang saglit to take him home." I glared at jace's teammate."Because as you see, these guys are useless.." 

"What?" A bulky guy with spikey hair said as if know nothing. I arched a brow.

"Okay, do what you must.. Ah, Is he your-" Lumingon ako agad sa kanya.."No, hell no." 

"He's my friend and I'm just being a real friend here." I said glaring at his teammates again while saying the words real friend..

Lumapit ako sa upuan ni Jace getting his phone from the pocket of his Three-fourths, quickly unlocking it. It revealed 42messages and 12 missed calls, all from.. Jet'aime? Okay this person may help. I tapped the call at nilapit ko sa tenga ko. Isang ring lang sumagot na agad yung kabilang linya.

"Hello? Hello Best?" 

Ow, it's Jam. I paused for a bit. Sya na lang ba? Parang walang namang matutulong to e.  Wala naman akong ibang kilala eh, yung mga cousins nya puro lasing na din. I don't know naman kung sinong mga classmates nya here, plus these useless teammates na gusto syang hayaang matulog na lang dito, like really? Sinong matinong utak ang magoovernight sa ganitong place?!

Hay, is there any other choice?

Aba't binigyan pa ko ng problema ng isang to. 

"Hello?"

My eyes rolled irritated, sya na nga lang.

"Si jas to, si JC nandito sa party ng teammate nya. Lasing na lasing, I'm afraid I can't take him to his place. Pwede mo ba syang sunduin dito? I mean if it's-"

"Saan?" Okayy, I am not expecting her to agree that quick.

"You sure?" 

"Oo, okay lang. Saang lugar ba?"  I gave him the address and the direction in case she's not familiar before hanging the call off.
