Who Said I'm Teasing? (Sabriel fluff)

5: Surprise

It's been a few hours after Dean left and Sam is in the kitchen. He had just finished eating and started cleaning up the counter and dishes he used. Mid cleaning his plate, he heard air moving and felt arms wrap around his waist.

"Hey Gabe." He greeted, smiling as he resumed scrubbing the ceramic item clean and rinsing it. Setting it to the side to dry, he realized the man hadn't responded. Sam looking behind him worried, but relaxed at the sight of Gabriel asleep against his back. "Gabriel." He said quietly, nudging him softly. He stirred and looked up.

"Hi Samoose." Gabe said, his head swaying a bit and his eyes trying to stay open to look at him.

"You tired?" Sam asked, turning around in his grip, leaning against the counter and wrapped his arms around the man.

"No, Angels don't get tired." Gabe yawned, laying his head back on Sam. "But I may have used a little too much grace." He mumbled. Sam's eyes widened and was about to lecture him about being careful, but he noticed he fell asleep again. The Moose sighed and picked him up bridle style, carrying him to his room.

He opened the door and laid him on the bed, pulling the sheets over him. Gabe stayed asleep and relaxed under the covers. Watching him for a bit, smiling, Sam closed the door and laid down next to him. It was still a little early for him to sleep, but he could be on his computer until he was tired. At least that's what he had planned until a certain somebody started cuddling him before he could grab it from the nightstand. So he got comfortable, falling asleep much sooner than he thought.

"Rise and shine Sammy!" Gabe shouted, jumping on Sam to wake him up.

"Alright, alright! I'm up." Sam told him, wiping his eyes and looking at the clock. "Gabe..." It said 6:26.

"Hey! I wanna do something. Plus we both fell asleep early last night." Sam sat up and was met with Gabriel who was still sitting on his legs. Sam gave him a good morning kiss on his forehead.

"I can understand why you did, but why did I?" Sam asked, not expecting an answer.

"Uh, that would be me." Gabriel pointed to himself as he got up so Sam could stand. "I might have been awake enough to use a tiny more grace to make you sleepy..." He stated, looking as innocent as he could.

"Why did you do that? And are you recharged now?" Sam asked while getting a change of clothes from his drawers.

"One, so we could do what I planned and two, yes I am. Thank you for asking!" He said cheerfully.

"Alright, well keep it down. Dean is most likely still sleeping." Sam said as he opened the door. 

"Hey, did you know that Dean and Cas are a thing?"

"I wouldn't put it past them. They do have what Cas puts it as a 'profound bond'." Gabriel replied, using air quotations.

"Right, well I'll be back." He left to the bathroom to take a shower, change, and came back to see Gabe was gone. Since he had no idea what Gabe had planned, he wrote a note for Dean and put it on his door.

Gabe woke me up early and said he has something planned. Don't know how long we'll be gone, and no matter what, DON'T hunt me down. I'll be fine. Have some fun with Cas. ~SamAfter that, Sam went on a hunt for the Archangel to find him sitting on the map table with a cherry lollipop.

"Ok, where are we going?" Sam asked, walking over to him.

"That'd ruin the surprise." Gabriel told him pouting, taking the candy out of his mouth. "But before we leave, you might want to eat something. Your next meal won't be for awhile and we have about half an hour to kill first."
