Who Said I'm Teasing? (Sabriel fluff)

2: New Kind of Fun

The next two days were chaos for Sam. Hair dye in the shampoo, clothes that were too small replaced his own, even his salads and shakes were gone. Replaced with sweets and greasy foods. But he couldn't figure out if that was Gabriel or Dean. Anything Gabe could think of that would annoy Sam happened. When the third day came, he didn't think he could find one more thing to do. But he did.

Sam woke up with his guard up. The last day of the pranking he could do nothing about. He dreaded what Gabe would do, thinking he saved the best for last. He got up and got dressed. Gabe had been kind enough to give him back a shirt that fit, but the pants were still tight and short. They had gotten a laugh out of Dean, he even took a picture, which Sam tackled him for. He walked out of his room, looking down the halls and above his door for a bucket of water he was greeted with yesterday. Seeing its safe, Sam walked down to the kitchen where he found a salad waiting for him on the counter. He just stared at it. This might be the sickest prank of all, if Gabe did something to the meal he eats the most.

He started to slowly walk towards it, watching it the whole way. There was a fork beside it which he grabbed. He thought the salad looked ok, definitely real veggies and not candies. He brought the fork down and took a bite. Chewing and chewing, trying to find anything that tampered with it. Then he looked down at it. Nothing. Nothing was wrong. He sighed a breath of relief. Too late. He felt something behind him and a breath on his neck. It was a trap! He turned around to see Gabe barely a hair away. Sam put his hands on the edge of the counter, staring at the man in front of him.

"Looks like I caught a Moose." The Angel said, a smirk growing on his face. 'What is he going to do?' Sam thought. Sweat went down his face as he was frozen still, face flustered. If this was a prank, Sam could do nothing about it. But then Gabe stepped back, giving him more room.

"I think I just found my new kind of fun." Gabriel said, looking at Sam's heavy breathing slowing and the frozen state he was in. "See you later Sammy!" And then he was gone. Leaving Sam in a panic. 

'What does that mean?!' He thought.

It had been four days since that incident and Sam hasn't seen or talked to Gabriel. He didn't tell Dean, not fully understanding it himself. At least not till he was in the library the next day. He was reading a book when he heard a whoosh and then a breath on his neck. The hair on his arms stood up in alarm, but it turned to be just Gabriel.

"Whatcha reading Samoose?" Gabe said, his voice right in Sam's ear.

"It's about the Greek gods and goddesses." Sam said, trying to ignore the hot breath on his neck.

"Interesting." Gabe whispered. He put his arms over Sam's shoulder, making him freeze.

"Um, Gabe, what are you doing?" He asked confused.

"Mind if I read with you?" He asked, turning the page, ignoring Sam's question.

"Sure, I guess. It's pretty boring." Sam said, looking back to the new page.

"Why are you reading it then?" The Archangel asked.

"Well I mean it's boring to other people. It fascinates me." Sam told him, starting to read about the goddesses Iris with Gabe resting on his head and arms across his shoulders. Occasionally he'd start playing with his hair when he lost interest or already knew it. Some times he'd supply information that wasn't in the book or what it got wrong. Partly trying to impress Sam.

And so it continued like this. Every once in a while, the Angel would show up when Sam was alone and try to tease him. It kept getting harder, having to find new ways to get Sam flustered since he adapted to them. But Gabriel didn't give up. His goal was to get Sam to the state he was in when they were in the kitchen. It kept failing though, because Sam didn't think he was serious. Well that'll have to change.
