He woke up when her middle finger twitched.He nearly jumped from his seat.He could not understand his overwhelming happiness.Her fingers started to move one by one and he unconsciously brought her hands to his lips and kissed it!Her hands feels soft in his lips and he loved kissing it.Her eyelids fluttered and his heart jumped out from his chest.He is happy like a husband waiting for his beautiful wife to wake up.It took her several minutes before she open her eyes.Excitement,happiness,anticipation runs through his veins.A wide grin breaks out from his aristocratic face.

Her eyebrows furrowed rigidly.Everything seems hazy and she feels thirsty.Her throat feels itchy,cracked and dry.

"Water please,"she spoke softly.

She feels like she's extremely weak.Every move she does is tiring that even breathing requires deliberate slow heaving of her chest.

"Here is the water,drink it,"he spoke gently,held the glass and put the straw in her mouth.She started to sip the water.

She felt coming to life!She can feel the blood running her veins,her heart pumping the blood,her organs fully functioning and her brain commanding her body to heal.She closed her eyes back and savored the feeling of being alive.She breathe and sighed contentedly.It felt so good to be alive!

"Miss?"his voice is full of panic and weariness.

"It's Kayleigh."She cannot hide the pain.She cringed and her body feels heavy and weak.

"Kayleigh,"he repeated her name.He looks like a boy smitten with her beauty!He had this dreamy look in his eyes!His eyes sparkled like a dazzling gem.God must have woven all the stars in the universe and decided to put all the beauty of the stars in his eyes!

Her fists curled up and her eyes grew intensely dark.

He was lovestruck,Kayleigh!He stared at like she has the loveliest face he had ever seen!She looks fragile,innocent,enigmatic,brilliant and alluring.She looks weak but he knew deep within lies the Amazonian queen Hippolyta.

I am so lucky!The prey is in love with the predator.

She gave her sweetest and most innocent smile.

"And you are?"she stared directly at his soul.

"Rex Cobain Schimdt Van Dyken,at your service,"his voice and eyes full of amusement and fascination.

"Kayleigh Sanders.Thanks for saving and taking care of me.I owe you my life."She faked her shy smile and her gratitude.

You nearly killed me,moron!Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!I was raped,tortured,hunted,stabbed and shot by your minions and yet you acted like you don't know it!She shouted silently.

I am going to be your greatest weakness and one of these days you'll kneel in front of me and beg for my forgiveness!

She gritted her teeth,clenched her fists and shut her eyes tightly.

"Kayleigh are you okay?"His voice caressed her heart.

So this is how he seduced Kayla,she mused.

Rex Cobain Van Dyken,you are heading for trouble.I am going to tame you,seduce you and crushed you!

"I'm fine,"she replied weakly.She cringed and twisted as if her head is about to blow.

"Kayleigh,oh god!What's happening with you?"He panicked and run to the nurse station.He shouted the nurse and demanded to check Kayleigh.

She smiled wickedly.Rex Cobain Van Dyken,let the game begin!
