They say you can see him ride in the darkness of the loneliest nights. If it was quiet enough, you could hear the screams of the souls he inflamed. What's the secret behind the skull and flames, a contract with the devil. The deal that took one drop of blood to make. The arrangement that took my father's life and bound him for eternity. His name was Johnathon though he is more known as Johnny Blaze. The man who became Legendary like his father. The man who became the ghost rider. If you can't tell by now, I am the son of the legendary Johnny Blaze. My name is Jaxton Blaze, but this isn't a story of my father's past. Instead, this is the story of how his life ends and how she had the power to destroy this contract.

The pleaser of the night is all she wanted. Her moans played a soft harmony as I felt her nails tearing into my skin, giving me the satisfaction of knowing that I was the one she was craving. "Jax.." She whispered, "Please come home.”

"What a fucking nightmare." As I shuffled through the house, shaking the dream out of my head, she called out to me. "Jaxton, honey, are you up yet? Your father should be here any minute." "Now we both know he isn't my father, Roxanne." "Jaxton Anthony Blaze, don't you ever disrespect or call me by my first name again. Do I make myself clear?" I sigh and kiss her cheek, "Yes, ma'am. I apologize. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and I shouldn't have taken it out on you. It's just this dream keeps getting worse." We sat in silence, neither one of us looking at the other. Her gaze out the window only made me wonder if she was holding back from the truth. After what sounded like an engine of a Suzuki GSX-R1000, there was a faint knock on the door. I kissed her cheek goodbye, "See you at the end of summer." Little did I know, this would be the last time I would see my mother. By the sight of her face from my Kawasaki Z400, she was ready; to never see me again.

We drove from Pontiac, Michigan, to Waukegan, Illinois. "Five hours on the back of a bike can make a man's ass sore." Readjusting my pants with one hand, I used the other to point at the building in front of us. "This dump is your home?" "No, this dump is your new home. I live on the road. Son, there is a lot you don't know, and your mother and I..." "Look, Johnathan, I am not you son, my father is an ass hat that abandoned my mother in her time of need, leaving her with a kid he never wanted, little to no money to support her or him, and nothing but pain with a broken heart. Far as I'm concerned, my father died the day he walked out that door." That night was one of the longest nights ever. I woke up to the cold summer breeze coming from the living room window, where I saw it for the first time. I took out my phone to take a picture and send it to my mother. "What the fuck is this!?!?!" She answered with a call, her voice was brisk, "Jax, run now!!!" I did as told and hid a few streets down from the apartment. "Mom, what is that thing." "That thing is your father. Johnny is the ghost rider. This summer was supposed to be you learning about your faith in destiny. Jax, you're the next ghost rider."

With an angle like silhouette, her hand appeared to me. "Come with me!" I took her hand without thinking and followed her to a cave. "Please don't touch anything in here, ok?" The cave turned out to be a Batman type secret base. She had long dyed hair, she wore biker clothes that showed her curves, and she had scars that were barely visible due to her jacket. I didn't know if I was in danger with her. Nor if she was trying to save me. All I knew was, she was going to give me the answers I needed. "I don't know who the hell you are, but you got..." She cut me off with a sinister chuckle. "My name is Jade Everheart. I am the daughter of Eris and just so happen to be your savior, so how about you show some respect." She then gave me a necklace and told me to put it on. "I need you to change into him."

Back at my father's apartment, I could see a bright light flickering on one of her screens. "He's looking for me, isn't he?" I point to the screen, "Who is that behind my dad?" Without an answer, she turned off all the monitors and put the necklace on for me. "If you don't change, we are doomed!" "Change!? Change into what? I can't Change like him!" I panicked just before I heard it. "Jade. Jade. Jade. Why must you always play the hero? Daddy wouldn't like you messing with his masterpiece." "Yeah? Well, bite me, Eira, and tell your dad to fuck off!" Jade hissed. "Poor Jade thinking Zeus' blood will save her from the abomination she was born into; dad was right your death is a great birthday present. Too bad it won't be by my hands. Sic 'em boys"  What sounded like a thousand drums was nothing more dangerous than, "BLOODHOUNDS! RUN!!" Jade grabs me and heads for a different opening of her cave, but before we could make it, we were trapped.

"Bravo, little sister. Bravo! You brought him right to me." Eira stated as she slips off the back end of my dad's motorcycle. Her hair was jet black and shaved on one side. Her eyes were dark and soulless as her skin was pale white like a vampire. It was no mistake that she was a true dead man walking. "Make one move and I'll take your head." she hissed, bending down, kissing up to one of her hounds.
