Another Princess ( LOVELY PRINCESS)

Flash back

Scene - Ruby Palace

Athanasia 16 years old.

" Stop this Princess! I beg you. "

The brunette maid cried out. A 16 years old girl stood in front of her with messy hair and unclean lab dress.

" Stop what Lily? You want me to stop? But exactly why? "

Tears rolled down from Lilian's eyes. Athanasia's facial expression didn't change a little.

" You're destroying your future?"

Athanasia turned round.

" I had no future from the beginning with then how can I destroy something which doesn't even exist? And what does my future have to do with you? "

" Princess! "

Athanasia paused for a second she moved towards Lily and put her hand on a crying Lily's shoulder. She whispered calmly in Lily's ears.

" You have seen every thing haven't you? "

What exactly had Lily seen? What exactly could have turned the situation this bad? Was it her fault for bringing up the infant?

" Why did you? If His Majesty is to know about this he would.... "

" Do what? Imprison me? He has no evidence that I killed that person. "

Lily said no words. Who could have thought that a child she had raised for a long time would completely change in a blink of eye?

" Princess!  Why are you doing this? "

" Exactly! Wonder why I do this? I also don't know why, you know? I feel amused by seeing their faces after killing. "

" You're not my princess! My princess can never do that! "

" Exactly Lily.  I'm the child you've brought up. How does it feel to get deceived Lily? "

" Stop this please. Before-before any one finds out. "

" I won't. "

Athanasia's calm and cold face asserted what she meant. It didn't occur to her how much Lily had suffered.

" Normally if you were someone else I wouldn't have let you live Lily? But you're Lily so, I'm keeping you alive. "

Lily had nothing to say. She had come to know about Athanasia's true origin now. The child had kept the secret for 16 years. Why couldn't have Lily followed the her when she accepted death? Had Lily been more careful could this have happened?

" Come-on Lily. Stop crying,  you're making me look like a bad guy now. "

" Princess, this could have killed Princess Jenette! "

Athanasia smirked. It could have hurt her right?

" So? It has nothing to do with me. If she were to die would anything in this mortal world have changed? "

Athanasia had her calm expression on her face as if nothing bothered her. Lily understood her continuous pleading would not change Athanasia's mind.

" Hey Lily,  you are not going to betray me right? You are not going to do anything of that kind right? "

" Princess! "

" I know,  I know. You know what? This days believing anyone has become too hard for me."

Lily couldn't utter a word, as if time stood still. She looked at Athanasia with dull eyes.

" You know? That person was too infuriating! If I hadn't killed her may be she could bring another harm? "

Lily said no words. Athanasia continued.

" Had I known such a thing would happen I wouldn't have taken much burden right Lily? Now you may choose to leave me if you want but I know you wouldn't do that right? "

" ......."

Athanasia noticed Lily uttering no words. Now it bothered Athanasia. She drew her self near Lily. Lily's face had then become dull. Lily spoke.

" If only.... I that day..... Hadn't let....you wander near.... That place.... You would have never become..... Like that.... I am.... Sorry.... No.... Kill.... Me.... "

" Lily....? "

Athanasia grabbed Lily's shoulder. She shook her but Lilian kept saying those words as if she didn't have anything else to say.

" Lily? Calm down? Don't give me such offers who knows that I might end up killing you? "

Athanasia understood situation had gone out of her hands. At that moment she had two options left.  Either kill lily or Erase her memories.

" Lily? Do you want to stay with me? I knew that you had known about my death for  while. "

" Kill....me.... "

" Listen, do you love me? "

" I'm at.... The fault.... "

" No, you do. That's your fault I never asked you to. "

" Kill.... "

" Okay, there's no way you can live with me anymore. So.... "

Athanasia grabbed Lily and placed her hand on her forehead.

" Erase it with in time, when the witness is the Lord. Forget about the past and start a new life"

Athanasia continued chanting until Lily fell asleep. Athanasia carried Lily's body and placed it on to the bed.

" It's better for you not to stay with me. I don't love you.  But I can not even let you die either .  So don't remember the memories you had with me okay?

A pain that has faded shall never be called up again. Goodbye.
