Athanasia put on her coat and sat in her chair holding a book. Her head was hurting for not being able to see yesterday night. It's a sunny day and she has decided to have her locked inside her lab today. She felt quite uneasy. For what she didn't know. About something.

" May Blessings and glory be always with the Princess of Obelia. "

Athanasia turned her head towards the direction from where the sound came from. The read headed knight bowed his head.

" It's quite rare to have Sir Felix in my tower. What brings you here? "

Felix didn't say much. He had a dark face somewhat scared of something. He looked At Athanasia and replied.

" The Empress had a miscarriage. "

Athanasia's jaw dropped. She couldn't believe what she had heard. But miscarriage? Why would that happen and specially when she didn't do anything.

" The Empress had a miscarriage? What nonsense! "

The knight felt tears coming down from his cheeks.

" I wish it was....Her Majesty is in a serious condition. His Majesty has gone on a rampage. "

" Wait, wait But how did that happen? "

" The Empress was gossiping with the ladies on her garden then suddenly something like a huge storm came up and hit the Empress making her fall from the chair. "

" Are you sure about that? This morning? And why am I being reported now? Why are you all so timid?! "

Athanasia understood what actually happened. It also became clear to her that this people were suspecting her. But when she's also quite surprised then why might such a thing occur?

" Your Highness, His Majesty wants to see you."

" I got it. We have got no time. "

Athanasia in a hurry put on her glasses and took her bag, she rushed towards Amethyst palace where Diana would have been. 

The hall was silent. Lucas sat beside Diana healing the damages. Claude had ordered to kill each of the ladies Diana had been with. Palace doctors have failed. They couldn't do much to Diana's health. Athanasia stormed in to that room.

" Make way for the Doctor. "

Athanasia in a way ran towards the bed. She paused for a moment seeing Lucas beside her. They shared eye contacts. 

Athanasia took Diana's hand and checked her pulses.

" She's still alive. Why haven't I been notified earlier! Take her to the operation room immediately and summon all the palace doctors! "

Athanasia summoned a of them in a calm voice. Diana was thus taken to the O. T room.  The room became empty. Only Lucas, Athanasia and Claude were there

Claude looked at Athanasia furiously. He slowly came closer to Athanasia and grabbed her Collar.

" If She's dead then I will kill you. "

Athanasia returned to her formal manner. She looked at Claude with the same icy eyes. Claude slapped her hard in face. A drop of blood came down from her mouth.

" You wench. I should have killed you the first time I saw you. "

Athanasia held her cheek and looked at Claude smiling. Claude was furious he couldn't control his hands.

" How pathetic. Both you and I know that I'm not behind this but you still had to choose me to vent your anger. "

Claude couldn't say anything. As if his mouth has been sealed of. Athanasia wiped the blood from the corner of her lips and held Claude's hands.

" If I were to Kill Diana I'd have done it earlier. I didn't do this. "

Claude's eyes widened. He said nothing and stormed out of the room. Athanasia took her bag from the floor. For a second she forgot about Lucas's existence. She stared at Lucas.

" Congratulations Young Warlock on being engaged to Princess Jenette.  I can't wait to see your disappointed face anymore. "

What she did, what she has been doing all this time was not either wrong or right. Athanasia smiled and leaves the room. Lucas stood still. He didn't say anything. He could say nothing.  He felt a pain in heart. Lucas didn't expect to see Athanasia here. He doesn't even harbour feelings for her then why? Why does it bother him. Why does he want to catch every glimpse of Athanasia why?

Athanasia sat on her bed. Diana's operation was successful. She's now okay but she has lost her baby now. It . She even doesn't care about Diana at all. But something hurts what Is it?
