It's knowing that you won't be accepted anymore for what you are that is horrible..
Kaneki knew from the start that f/n was a human , and that he was a ghoul..The possibilities are endless.. "I am living a life that does not belong to me..." He always reminded himself that one day he would have to let go..But he forgot . "w-what are you ..?" F/n whispered backing up to a wall.. "F/n , I promise I was going to tell you .. I just didn't think it was the right moment,." Then what was the right moment?! When you eat me?!" F/n was devastated .. Kaneki looked down in shame .."If I did tell you then-THEN YOU WOULD LEAVE ME!" Kaneki's voice cracked and tears started flowing freely..F/n tackled him with a big bear hug "I-I would never leave you ..you even started crying yourself.. "I realized that to be happy...Maybe I need a little bit of company.." Maybe I have found a life that I was looking for with somebody else.." With those words spoken ..You knew that maybe just maybe...He was your happiness ..
