I miss him so much. Long-distance is not working out for me. The unduly amount of lonely nights keep piling up on my shoulders, I carry it around like a dead weight. For the past few days, the texts have gotten shorter, the calls have gone unattended.
When did it all go wrong?
Two hours later I'm still staring at my phone hoping to see his no flash on the screen but it's still blank.
Maybe he is doing an extra class today.
I give myself false hope. 10:45 I should just sleep. I don't know if he even remembers my birthday is tomorrow. Mia will surely come by 12 with a six-pack beer in her hands. She knows how I miserable I am.
I wake around 11:30 to soft knocks.
Wah for the first time in life she is early probably bought snacks that's why.
I groggily slump out of bed.
"Told you I'll talk to you later." He smiles.
My dreams are getting too lifelike. I can see and hear him. Haa finally can use that psychologists number Mia gave. She is going to be so proud of her prediction.
He hugs me. I feel his warmth against me.
"WAIT! WHAT THE FUCK!"
he stumbles back, startled cause I screamed right in his ear holes.
I sprint towards him pulling his cheeks, shaking his shoulders, ruffling his hair why is he so real...
"Are u in front of me in reality."
"No. You are dreaming get up"
I slap myself. Get up idiot you need professional help. "Stop! I'm here right. In front of you, love."
"I missed you so much" I jump and wrap my legs around his waist hug him like a kolar bear he catches me and walks to the sofa. I sit on his lap facing him.
"I missed you too, much more than u can ever imagine" I hug him as tightly as I could wrap my body around his and fall asleep on his shoulder
"I'm the one who took an 8-hour flight but sure she's the one who is exhausted" he chuckles and kisses my hair.
He holds me as both of us fall asleep with no space between us.
"Open the door" Mia bangs the wooden surface but we didn't budge from our slumber.
