Chapter 2. High school

(As i said in the last chapter they are in highschool now. yay. I guess. But its there second year there so like kaito and all already know that they are going to the same school as maki and kokichi so yeah)

Maki P.O.V

I wake up to my alarmclock and look around yawning, "... WAIT A MINUTE!!" I get up and look at the calender "Dang it!!!" I run over to Kokichis room and shake him awake "WAKE UP!!!" I yell and he sits up "What!?" He says paniced, I sigh "Come one!! If we dont get ready in 25 Minutes we are going to be late for our first day back at school!!!" I yell and he quickly jumps out of bed and runs to get dressed, "Akamatsu and the others probably left without us!" I pout as ouma runs out of the bathroom putting on shoes and grabbing his bag "Even if they did at least they wouldnt be late..." Kokichi says as we walk out of the room and to the kitchen. I nod and grab us both two bear like macarons putting them in a plastic bag. "I packed you guys some lunch." One of the caregivers says as she hands me and ouma a lunchbox "Now go to school or you will be late." The cargiver says as she pushes us out of the kitchen and torwards the orphanages doors. "Okay! Bye Kiu!!" i yell walking outside with kokichi. Once we get outside we see shuichi and kaito still waiting there. "MOMOTAAAA SAIHARAAAA!!!" I yell running over to them as ouma walks behind me "Took you guys long enough!" Kaito says sighing, "Wheres Akamatsu?" I ask ignoring kaitos comment. "She left not wanting to be late." Saihara says playing with his tie. I puff my cheeks and run ahead "AKAMATSUUUU yOU MEANIEEE!!!" I yell seeing her still walking. She turns around to look at me "... You shouldnt of tooken so long..." She says and i sigh now walking next to her. "Yeah what took you guys so long anyway?" Shuichi asks walking behind us with kaito and kichi trailing behind "...I still had my alarm set for break..." I say with a sigh. Shuichi laughs a little bit and kaede sighs "Your such an airhead..." Akamatsu says walking ahead "HEY!" I yell and she shakes her head continuing to walk to school.

3rd person P.O.V

"JUST IN TIME" The brunette yells as she runs into the classroom with her friends following. "Not so loud Harukawa..." kokichi whispers walking past maki and to his seat with kaito. Shuichi chuckles and sits next to there classmate kiibo. Maki looks at kaede and smiles "Lets go!!" She yells grabbing the blondes hand and walking over to there seat. After they all are seated the teacher walks in and introduces herself. Right after the introduction she starts teaching. As the teacher speaks Kokichi and Kaito both sigh. "Hey kichi?" Kaito whispers to the other purple haired boy grabbing his attention "Hm?" Kokichi says as he writes notes on a piece of paper. "Im bored..." Kaito whispers "Can we talk or something?" Kokichi sighs and nods "Sure... What do you want to talk about?" Kokichi whispers back, Kaito shrugs and sighs. Kokichi laughs quietly "What?" Kaito whispers and kokichi shakes his head "Its just funny how you want to start a conversation yet you dont know what about." Kokichi whispers, putting his pencil down and looking at kaito. "Well we could talk about... hm..." Kaito whispers not actually knowing what he wanted to say Kokichi just giggles quietly and lays his head down. "Take your time." Kokichi whispers.

Kaito P.O.V

Wait does he want to talk or...no? Im confused... If he's telling me to take my time then does that mean he wants me to put thought into what i want to talk about? Or does he want me to shut up...? My thoughts get interuppted by kokichi tapping my shoulder and the bell ringing "Kaito? Are you alright?" Ouma asks me and i look at him "Ah! Sorry! I got lost in thought" I say and he giggles. "Thats alright." Kokichi says and i blush, wait whaaaa noooo i like maki not kokichi! STOP EJDSMAOFLRE NO!
I sigh. honestly im confused on my sexuality but i guess that doesnt matter right now. Maybe i should ask kokichi what i should do. "Actually kokichi?" I say and he turns to me as he packs up his stuff. "Hm?" he tilts his head. "Well... I like maki... and well... uhm... I... Dont know what to do..."

Kokichi P.O.V

ohshitohshitohshitohshit  "...." uhm uhm uhm what would maki want me to do... uhm... The truth... nothing but the truth... "Well..." SHIT I CANT DO THIS I DONT WANT HIM TO BE SAD!!! SHbdwiadbfujnJNAFJBNLENBbJBfBDKfbCJ<SDBfjbs. okay... kokichi calm down... Just tell him the truth. "...Im sorry... but.. uhm, how do i say this... maki...she... likes kaede..." I say looking to the side. I was kinda scared to look at him i didnt want to see his sad face... but he just chuckles "Well at least you saved me from embarrising myself in front of her." Kaito says. i look over to him he had a sad smile, i walk over to him and hug him.

Kaito P.O.V

I look down at kokichi "Its alright... It was just a small crush. i can get over it." I say with a smile. kokichi lets go of me and nods. "...Lets get ready for lunch." Kokichi says as grabs his stuff, i do the same and me and kokichi walk out to the hall seeing shuichi, maki, and kaede waiting for us by the lockers. Maki giggles and looks at us "You two seem to be getting even more comfortable with each other~!" Maki says as kokichi pushes her playfully "OI!" Maki trys to push kokichi back but kokichi dodges and runs off "HEY!!! GET BACK HERE!!!!" Kokichi giggles and continues to run.
