Your Pov:
I sat in darkness desperately clinging to Sammy my knees tucked into chest. I was in a cage with no way out as it soared upwards into the unknown.
Thomas' Pov
An alarm goes off as I add the last pieces of compost onto the plant in front of me. It seems I am not the only that is confused as everybody around me is looking around at each other. Each face showing the same expression of confusion.
"Newt what is going on?" I ask as he turns to face me
"The Greenie alarm it shouldn't be going off though."
"Why is that." I ask
"A greenie only comes up once a month." He tells me as I piece it together before I break into a sprint Newt following in tow
By the time we got there Gally had opened the doors and had jumped down to see what had happened. Not even seconds later a young girl has jumped out of the box and starts to run towards the treehouse I had been standing in not even 5 hours prior. What is a little girl doing here? It was clear nobody else knew either. I sighed before going back to work leaving the new 'greenie' to the leaders as they were probably going to decide what to do with her.
*Time Skip*
"Hey Tommy we need you help." Newt says between breaths
"What do you need Newt?" I ask
"The girl won't come down we think she wants to talk to you." He explains
"Why me?" I question again even more confused
"She keeps mentioning Tommy and your the only Tommy we know so yeah."
"It's worth a try I suppose." I frown
I jog to the treehouse and make my way up the ladder when I get to the top I am greeted with a small girl no older than 10 staring back at me with wide eyes holding onto a type of toy.
"Tommy." She squeals tackling me into a hug
"How do you know who I am?" I ask as gently as possible
"I can't remember." She stutters
"That's ok what's your name?" I ask another question proud I am making progress with the girl
"Y/n"
"Well Y/n how about we go down and meet the other?" She looks at me skeptical "I will be with you the whole time don't worry." I reassure and I guess it works because she grabs her toy and walks back over to me beaming
*Time Skip to the party*
Your Pov
"What is your toy called?" A boy named Newt asks me he seems close to Tommy and is really nice so I decided to trust him
"Guess." I laugh
"Hm how about Rob or maybe Will." He suggests only making me laugh more
"No silly this is Sammy." I tell him
"Well hello Sammy." Another boy says causing us all to burst into more laughter
Once the laughter dies down I let out a small yawn hoping it goes unnoticed but it doesn't.
