Chelsie's POV.
I woke to a pain in my body. I slowly dragged myself out of bed and into the shower. I just sat there thinking about Matt.. I can't see him anymore. I can't go on the date with him today then, I can't risk his life now too. After 20 minutes I decided to meet up with Matt and make up a lie about me not wanting to see him anymore. I slowly put on some dark ripped skinny jeans, a sweater( since it was raining), and my boots. I put in my mascara and concealer. I just combed my hair and walked out side. It was pouring. I started to walk to Starbucks and texted Matt to meet me there.
Matt's POV.
I was picking out what to wear for my date with Chelsie when my phone went off.

C- can u meet me up at Starbucks ASAP??

No answer... I jump into my car and drove to Starbucks. I got there and saw Chelsie standing out in the rain. She looked beautiful with wet hair and just her standing there made my heart skip beats. I grabbed my coat and saw that Starbucks was closed." Hey, here you look cold," I said and put my coat around Chelsie. She smiled and said," I can't see you anymore, I don't want to." I saw pain and tears in her eyes." What why, what did I do," I said worried." Nothing it's me, I can't go out with you tonight... I'm sorry," Chelsie said and started walking away down the street. No no I'm not letting her leave. I ran up to her and said," No please Chelsie, tell me why." She turned around and I saw her crying." Your making this harder then it already is," she choked out." Then please don't just leave me like this," I said. I ran up to her face and put on hand around her waist and my hand cupped her face. I kissed her hard and soft. She started to kiss back, she put her arms around my neck, I can't lose her, I love her I need her. but she pulled away crying even more now." I can't do this Matt," she said and walked away." WHY," I yelled." Cause if my parents find out they will beat the shit out of me and my sister, they beat me Matt, my step dad hurts me, there you happy now you know," Chelsie yelled and started running. I got tears in my eyes.... She is abused..
Chelsie's POV.
I started running and running. I ran to the woods and stopped at my lake and swing. It wasn't rain as hard now cause the trees cover me. I sat down and started bawling out crying. " I told him I was beaten..... I told him I never want to talk, see, or go out with again.... I pushed him away like I push everyone away... I love him but love is too risky for me," I thought." MATT IM SO SORRY," I screamed! I couldn't stop crying I out Matt's jacket on the ground and wrapped myself into it. I feel asleep while crying about Matt.
Emily's POV.
I started looking around for Chelsie in town. I texted her 67 times and called her 78 times. No answer. Where would she be?? I ran into someone and spilled coffee all over her." Watch it bitch," she said." Im.. Sorryy... I I I didn't see you," I stutter because I was scared. She was wearing booty shorts, crop top, and snadles. Wooww its like 50 degrees outside! Eww!" Ohh I'm sorry I don't speak shuttering," she laughed and her friends laughed at me they grabbed her dink and spilled it all over my shirt. "Hey leave her alone, she didn't mean to," I heard a boy voice behind me say. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the sinks. I saw his face and died it was my crush and the person I love. He helped me clean up and said," you know... You are very beautiful, even with coffee all over you," he said and laughed. I blushed." I doubt it," I said looking down." I know you are, can I have your number," he asked. I nodded and gave him my number. Then he entered his number into my phone. Putting, Hayes❤️.( haha yeas it Hayes) I died! We walked away and I started looking for Chelsie again.
Chelsie POV.
I was dreaming about Matt and me... I woke up to the sky being dark and thunder. I got up and felt sore. I walked home and walked up stairs into my room. Good thing my mom and dad are at the bar. I slipped out of to wet cloths and put on my sweats, and a long shirt. I slipped I to bed. I passed out.
Emily's POV.
I heard the front door open. I checked the time, 1:30 am. I started to get scared and thought it was my dad and mom. I walked into Chelsie's room and saw her sleeping. I sighed and gave her a light hug before laying besides her an falling asleep thinking about Hayes......
