Chapter Six Part 5

"We need to talk"
"About what... is my family too loud, do you want to leave, we could go if you want. I don't want to make you uncomfortable"
"Breakfast is ready" Molly called out causing everyone to get up and gather at the table.
"Lets talk after breakfast?"
"Ok" Ron said nervously
"Here you go hon" Molly said as she handed the girls a plate.
"Thanks mum" Karina said and looked around the table at all the good food options. Everyone stared at her wide eyed, but even she didn't seem to realise what she said. The boys looked at their mother and she shook her head and looked at Karina. She completely understood. 
"For breakfast we have orange juice, toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage"
"Baconnnn... don't take mine this time El" Karina said as she took her seat next to Ron and they started to laugh and talk
"Do you think she noticed" Fred asked as he whispered in the direction of Ella and Aine
"I don't think so"
"And we can't tell her" Ella said the boys looked at each other in confusion.
"She doesn't see her parents... doesn't see her mum or dad"
"I mean remember when she called Snape dad yesterday"
"Just don't bring it up"
"What are you guys talking about" Karina said as she turned towards the group with a big smile
"Nothing just talking about-" Aine looked at George hoping he would finish her sentence 
"How tomorrow's Christmas"
"Can you believe it"
"I know it seems like the year passed by fast" Karina added 
"Well you were in a coma for a month" Percy muttered under his breathe and looked at his mother
"She what" Molly whispered towards Percy
"She was in a coma" Ginny added her voice shushed as well as to not hit the ears of the group at the end of the table.
"When Hermione went missing, Karina went into the Forbidden Forest to look for her and her dad appeared and slit her wrist she almost bleed to death, she lost a lot of blood and Snape gave some to her to save her, but even after he gave the blood she went into a coma for a month"
"And they wonder why the forest is forbidden"
"Her father did that too her"
"Yeah terrible man I hear"
"Did you know that he and his wife go on a family trip without out their bloody daughters"
"R-Really" Molly stuttered looking at Karina, she felt sympathy for her. Growing up without parents. 
"Breakfast was amazing Mrs. Weasley" Karina said as she picked up her plate and walked it over to the sink and began to wash it.
"Please darling call me Molly, you're apart of this family now"
"Ok thank you Molly"
"Mum we are going to Hogsmeade to walk around for a bit" Ron said as he picked up his plate and left it in the sink along with his brothers following along. 
"If you don't mind... Molly" Karina said as she stood there awkwardly.
"No of course not... don't be back too late" She smiled causing the girls to run to Ginny's room to get dressed. 
"BYE MUM" Ron yelled out while grabbing Karina's hand and leading her out the door. The twins unlike their brother who was love struck and in awe that his girlfriend, walked over to Molly and planted a kiss on each cheek
"Bye mum"
"Be careful please"
"We will"
"TAKE CARE OF YOUR BROTHER AND THE GIRLS"
"WE WILL" 
Each twin gabbed ahold of their significant others hand and walked out following their brother and bestfriend who were practically skipping.
"Well he's happy" Fred smiled looking at the two goofs in front of them
"Are you?" Ella asked looking away from Freddy and turning her attention to the trees. He stopped grabbed her chin and turned her head so she was looking at him. 
"Well of course I am. . . are- are you"
"Y-yeah, but"
"But?"
"Nothing forget it it's stupid"
"Nothing you say is stupid"
"No really it's nothing"
"Are you sure"
"Yeah" The pair continued to walk and she looked at Ron, His bright red hair bouncing up and down with every skip he took. Holding her hand, he should have been holding-
"Hey you okay" Aine asked as she shoulder bumped Ella pulling her away from her thoughts.
"Me? Oh yeah I'm fine" 
"Baby you can't lie to me"
"It's just" She looked at Fred and let go of his hand
"I'm gonna go walk ahead and talk to Aine. . . Girl stuff"
"Don't need to ask my permission" he smiled at her and looked at his brother. Both Aine and Ella walked ahead and started to talk.
"I've been having feelings"
"Well what kinds, Happy, sad-" 
"Confusing ones"
"Oh. . . about" 
"Fred"
". . ."
"I don't know how to explain it... I see Ron with Karina, holding her hand, hugging her, giving her kisses and-"
"You wanna be in Ron's place?"
"No"
". . . You wanna be in Karina's"
"Yeah and I know that's bad because well, I'm with Freddy but I just don't know"
"What about the dreams"
"The dreams"
"Yeah like I had the one with George, and you had yours of Fred, and Karina's was with Draco... it has to mean something"
"They've changed"
"They what"
"Now it's dreams of Ron... we got in a big fight and we all looked like Harry but no Ron and I know that it was a dangerous thing because I could feel it and we were separated and I think thats-"
"How he dies"
"Yeah... but I don't know if I really have feelings for him and if I do, what am I gonna do about Freddy" Ella turned around to see Freddy laughing with George, throwing snowballs at each other. 
"I can't ruin the holidays" 
"We will figure it out"
"What about Rina, I- I don't want to piss her off"
"You're not... I bet she's thinking of a way to tell Ron as we speak"
"Ron... Like I said I wanted to talk"
"Oh yeah what about" 
"Well, as you know my dad is a very dangerous man"
"Yeah?"
"Well do you ever get scared"
"Scared?"
"Yes... I mean he thinks highly of blood status and he see's your family as excuse my French but as... blood traitors"
"Yeah"
"And well what if he come after you family in spite of my actions"
"Then we'll be ready for him"
"No Ronald" She stopped causing him to stop and look at her. She was scared?
"Did he say that?"
"And well, I just met your family, and they are all so lovely and I don't want you or them to get hurt for something I did and I-"
"Karina"
"Yeah"
"Did he say that"
"Yeah... he did and I do like you I do, but... I can't risk putting your family in danger"
"I completely understand" she let go of his hand and looked at him, He shook his head and grabbed her hand again. 
"Not yet? Just until we get back to school then- then we can break up"
"Okay" he embraced her feeling down, the one person he really cared about, his world revolved around her, And she just said they needed to break up. He didn't want it to happen but he was thinking of everyone else. Fred, George, Ginny, Molly, Arthur, Percy everyone in that house was to be doomed. He had seen what Matheo DeMarco was capable of now just imagine towards people who weren't related to him.
"Just until he get back" he repeated as they broke apart. She looked into his blue eyes and smiled. 
"Yeah" she turned back and saw Ella and Aine hugging and behind them was the twins throwing the white substance around at each other. She looked forward and saw the Village. 
"looks like we're just arriving" Karina said looking at Ron again and formed a smile to calm down her for-now boyfriend. 
"THERE IT IS. . . UP AHEAD" Ron yelled out causing the twins to run up. Fred not watching his path tripped on a branch and landed face first into the snow. 
"HA" George said as he ran towards his twin 
"Oh shut up" Fred said muffled by the snow, reaching up he took Georgie's leg and tripped him causing him to fall and land face first as well. They broke out in a fit of laughter and picked up their faces to see it was wet and had some snow on their eyelashes, and hair.
"Awww my poor baby" Aine said taking her sleeve and wiped Georgie's face clean from the snow. She planted a kiss on his cold pink nose causing warmth to run through his body.
"Do I get some of that love" Fred said walking over to Ella she laughed and pulled down his beanie to cover his face. The group caught up with the couple in the front and looked down at the beautiful scene. The village tops covered in the white snow . It was mesmerizing. They smiled at each other and ran down in the imaginary race of who's fastest. Once they arrived the girls looked around smiling feeling peace, feeling loved, feeling complete. Karina looked ahead and saw her friends with the company of a familiar Slytherin and a familiar Ravenclaw in their arms. 
"Z CECI OH MY GOD" She yelled as she ran towards them, occasionally slipping on the cold wet ground. She hugged them and smiled.
"I didn't think I'd see you here" She looked at Blaise and Luna and smiled
"I see you guys brought company" She said placing her hands on her hips showing off her signature drama queen pose. Both Z and Ceci smiled a blush forming on their face from both the coldness and the realization. 
"How's you're Christmas going" Ceci asked interlocking hands with Blaise's who had his hand over her shoulder.
"Well it's going great actually" she looked back and smiled seeing the George kissing a laughing Aine's cheek, Fred swinging Ella's hand exaggeratedly, and Ron with a big smile.
"and when did this happen" Karina asked a smile forming on her lips as she looked at Luna and Z holding hands.
"We're dating now" Z said as she brought Luna's hands up to her lips to plant a kiss on top. 
"Yesterday, we figured we wanted to be together instead of being apart" Luna said as she smiled at Z.
"And you two?" Karina asked looking towards Blaise and Ceci
"Yesterday... at the astronomy tower he told me he liked me and I told him I liked him back"
"Aww good for you guys. . . I have to get going the boys and girls are waiting"
"You could come, we're going to the three broomsticks. . . gonna hang out there for a couple of hours"
"I would love to but we told mum-" That's when she realized it, she called Molly mum. Had she been calling her that all day? What did they think about th-
"Karina are you okay" Blaise asked his friend worriedly.
"What, Oh yeah I'm fine. Uhhhh right we promised the BOYS mum that we wouldn't get back to late, we already spent a long time on the walk and now that it's winter the sunsets faster so-"
"Hey it's okay" Ceci said smiling
"Reschedule" Z said nodding
"Yeah for sure, reschedule"
Karina turned around then remembered "Hey Blaise"
"Yeah"
"How's Malfoy"
"He's hanging in there"
"Tell him I'll be home soon, will you?"
"Yeah of course" 
She smiled and hugged everyone goodbye and walked back to her group. They walked the streets looking into the stores and clinging onto each other for warmth after a couple of hours they all made their way back in the direction of the burrow. When they walked in the girls were surprised to see Harry and Hermione at the table. 
"HEYYY" Karina said running up to Hermione and begin to start conversation
"Hey potter" Ella said making her way to the couch with Aine
"S-Slytherin"
"Do you think she did it" Aine said taking her seat on the couch 
"Probably I mean did you see how sad he looked"
They both turned around to see Karina talking to Hermione while Ron sat next to her and played with her fingers. 
"My question is when should I do it" She said turning her attention to Fred sitting at the table with his mum and George.
"Maybe after Christmas"
"And ruin the New Years party"
"He'll be over it by then"
"You think"
"I hope so"
The rest of the day the family and their guest ate dinner and performed in games to pass the time. Sooner rather than later they were all laying in bed again. Each of them consumed by their own thoughts. Slowly going to bed. Karina woke in the middle of the night and walked out the front door, the cold air hitting her face brought her down to Earth. She closed her eyes and all she could see was Ron's sad face. It hurt her to see him like that. Aside from awarness hitting her a rolled up piece of parchment falling from the sky hit the top of her head causing her to jump and let out a quiet scream. She looked down and picked it up. She opened it and read it. 
She instantly ran back inside.

"How'd you sleep" Aine asked Ella while she stretched her arms. 
"Good actually" They looked over at Karina's bed and saw the sheets were folded up
"Guess she got an early morning start" Ella said as she put on her slippers and they both walked out.
"Good morning girls" Molly said smiling big
"IT'S CHRISTMAS" George yelled out 
"CHRISTMAS OH YEAHHHHHHHHHH" Fred yelled out jumping up and down like an excited 5 year old's. 
"well where's Karina" Ron asked looking behind the girls expecting her to walk out at any moment
"She's not out here?" Aine asked as she hugged George
"No she hasn't come-" Ron ran to the room and then ran out
"She's gone" 
"WHAT" The twins said as they looked at each other and started to run around like chicken's who had just got their head's cut off. The girls ran into Ginny's room and looked under the beds and under the pillows when she found it. Ella grabbed the paper and walked out. Handing it to Ron she knew exactly what it said before even having to read it. 
"Dear Ron" he read the note quietly, crumbled it up and threw it on the floor and walked out of the house. Aine looked at Ella and picked up the crumpled up parchment.
