Chapter 4 first day in the orpanage

I cry into the woman's arms. Bright pumpkin eyes a dull orange now crying. the lady's name tag says Rose.

"Aww it's alright dear we'll take care of you but let's feed you and get you dried off first ok?" Rose says smiling.

She puts me in a chair and disappears and comes back with a towel drying my hair. "And I'll try to keep you away from my sister Creeper she's mean so what do you want for breakfast?"

I play with my fingers. "um worm cakes?"

"Huh? I'll just make a surprise" she smiles cooking and a few minutes later puts a plate of pancakes in front of me with gummy worms on them and syrup and a fork and knife.

I cut a tiny piece of pancake tasting it. Well it wasn't my worm cakes but I kinda liked it. Next I picked up a gummy worm and eat it. Hm I think I like real worms better I smile at Rose eating.

(Meanwhile in Oogie Boogies lair)

Lock Shock and Barrel come back from Jacks house and I can hear them argue. " I am not telling him! You tell him!" "No! Make me!" " fine! We'll all tell him"

Lock Shock and Barrel walk over telling me the brat baby got away.

"WHAT?!!" I bellow turning on them angry. "You find that baby now! She will destroy all my plans!"

Lock Shock and Barrel run away and to the human world wearing disguises.

I hear the doorbell and answer it seeing a man a boy and a woman all ugly.
"Hello my name is Luther" says the man
"And I'm his wife um Shelly and this is our son Ben" the woman makes a face at the wife part.

Ben smiles at me.

"We would like to adopt a child" Luther says.

I smile. "Oh um come in then please"

Luther, Shelly and Ben walk in looking around and see Emily eating breakfast.

Rose looks away from me to get something. I look at the man the woman and the boy and my eyes flash red seeing through their disguises. I see Lock Shock and Barrel. I make a really scary face and all three run away screaming.

I come back and see the ugly couple and the boy are gone and Emily is eating her breakfast like nothing happened. "Well I guess they changed their minds oh well. I take Emily's plate when she's done and wash it.
