The nightmare princess

Chapter 2 sally's vision

(Sally pov) 🎄

"Come on Emily it's nap time." I say calling her.

"I not tired mommy!" Emily calls hiding.

I walk finding her and pick her up being careful not to trip over her toys. "want some of mommy's special soup to help you sleep?"

"Yeah! Yummy soup!" she says excited orange pumpkin eyes glowing a little. I giggle putting her in her highchair then disappear into the kitchen.

I start throwing together the three special ingredients for my soup: deadly nightshade, frogs breath and worms wort. I smile to myself thinking of all the times I made this for Dr Finklestein just to see Jack even though I was in love with him but was always too shy to speak to him and blush a little. Then push away those thoughts and put the soup in a bowl for Emily and get a spoon and give it to her with the soup.

"Thank you mommy" she smiles and eats all of the soup and as soon as I take her bowl she passes out where the bowl was. I pick her up and tuck her into her bed.

I smile and walk into the bedroom Jack and I share and lay on the bed looking at some flowers Jack picked for me earlier that week. I fall asleep and start having a vision in my dream.

I see Lock looking mad and walking to Oogie Boogies place and tell him about Emily. 2 years later I see Jack, Me and Emily asleep and Emily is about 5 years old. Then Oogie Boogie breaks in as a shadow and kidnaps Emily and Emily screams waking us up then she's gone.

I jump awake and start sobbing. Then I feel Jack's boney touch, guessing he just got home, and throw myself into his arms sobbing.

"Sally what's wrong?" Jack asks worried picking me up sitting on the bed with me.

I eventually look at him tear stains down my rag doll face rubbing my eyes still crying a little. "I-I I had a vision Jack."

Jack looks at me remembering the last vision I had when he tried to take over Christmas. "What?! What happened Sally?"

I look at him crying and tell him everything that happened in my vision.

(Jack pov)👻

I couldn't believe what Sally just told me. "Oogie is going to kidnap Emily?!" I say feeling angry at Oogie, shocked and terrified for our daughter's safety all at once.

Sally nods. "Jack you know Oogie better than anyone and know how he works. You know he will just to get to you."

I sigh nodding putting my skull in my hands. She was right and I knew it better that anyone. I think for a minute about to cry and look at Sally this was going to make her cry more than ever and I hated it. "Sally we have to protect our daughter and I'm sorry to say it but let's face it Halloweentown may not be the safest place for dear Emily now.

Sally looks at me then buries her face in my chest crying again. "I just wish that weren't true Jack."

Neither of us were looking forward to what had to be done tomorrow on her 5th birthday.
